I have been inspired for some time by the timeless spiritual gems revealed by Our Lord to Gabrielle Bossis, a regular laywoman who was a nurse and playwright and recently I was at a healing retreat with Father James Blount who told us that desire was the key to the spiritual life and along with Imitation of Christ recommended this lovely book, He and I. I have felt inspired for some time to create a new blog based on He and I as a complement if you will to the Consuming Fire meditations based on the Flame of Love Diary because in these turbulent but amazing times we are living in Our Lord wants to pour out His Graces in abundance including the gift of living in the Divine Will on all of His Children and we are all His Children. But how can we be ready to receive these graces if we don’t even know who He is? I believe that He and I shows us what it is really like for an ordinary person to live a perfectly normal life while in communication and intimacy with the King of the Universe. And these intimate conversations are not just for Gabrielle Bossis, they are for each and every one of you.
