Made White In The Blood Of The Lamb Forever

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Solemnity of All Saint’s Day

Made White in the Blood of the Lamb- All Saints Day

“Then I humbly hid Myself under a common appearance so as to be more accessible to you, so that you would not fear Me. I hid Myself in the white Host like a child wrapped up in swaddling clothes. When I enter your heart, make sure that the robe of your soul is free from any stain or tear, because no father has made greater sacrifices to acquire a suit for his child.” (Jesus) (May 1962)

Today’s Readings: “Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?”
I said to him, “My lord, you are the one who knows.”
He said to me,
“These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress;
they have washed their robes
and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 7)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we honor all the Saints, all the ones who made it- the great cloud of witnesses that cheers us on from Heaven including we pray our family members who have come before. The ordinary people saved by grace who have washed their robes and made them white in Your Precious Blood. Lord, as we think of all the great saints, including our patron saints perhaps, we see their great deeds and we may feel like we may never get there. But Lord, as St. Therese has taught us and as St Faustina and the Divine Mercy devotion has shown us it has never been easier to be a saint! Because we have been given especially in these times every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3). But do we desire holiness or are we content with mediocrity? Let us examine ourselves and place ourselves in the Holy Hands of Our Mother Mary who will fashion us into saints, as St. Louis Marie de Montfort says, by placing us in Her mold as she fashions us into Your Likeness. As St. John tells us today, we shall be like You because we will finally see You as You are, so let us make ourselves pure as You are pure as we hope in You with all of our hearts!

Not Great Things But Small — October 30, 2022

Not Great Things But Small

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Monday of the Thirty First Week of Ordinary Time

Not Great Things But Small

“Why do you prefer some

passing goal? Do you not trust the value of sufferings? I give value to your sufferings and it

causes me sorrow if you do not appreciate them. I would think that you are not accepting them

with love. Without love, even great things have no value. (Jesus) (August 16, 1962)

Today’s Readings: O LORD, my heart is not proud,

nor are my eyes haughty;

I busy not myself with great things,

nor with things too sublime for me.

(Psalm 131)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, the daily readings have been about humility. About doing nothing out of selfishness and vainglory (Philippians 2) but putting others first. About caring about those who cannot repay us (Luke 14). This way is counter to the world. Even those of us on a spiritual path, we want to do great things! But You are not asking great things from us but small things with done with great love! Lord, help us to accept our sufferings and put ourselves last in service to our neighbor, particularly our families. Help us to serve each other with Mary’s Heart as we see You in all that we meet!

Seeking And Saving The Lost — October 29, 2022

Seeking And Saving The Lost

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thirty First Sunday of Ordinary Time

Seeking and Saving The Lost

Seek this profound repentance for a great number of souls. I call many souls to follow Me, but few come.” (Jesus) (April 17, 1962)

Today’s Readings: And Jesus said to him,
“Today salvation has come to this house
because this man too is a descendant of Abraham.
For the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today we read about Zacchaeus, the “wee little man” who climbed up

the tree just to see You. He was desperately seeking You and in turn You came running to him and told him to come down quickly as You had to come to his house. Why, because Zacchaeus opened up the door of his heart just a little and that is all it took for You to come rushing in! Zacchaeus experienced a profound conversion experience just being in Your presence. How we want that not only for ourselves but for others including our loved ones. You call all souls to follow You but few come- let us pray and sacrifice that hearts would open as together with You Lord we seek the lost so that You can save them!

For Me To Live Is Christ To Die Is Gain — October 28, 2022

For Me To Live Is Christ To Die Is Gain

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Saturday of the Thirtieth Week of Ordinary Time

For Me To Live Is Christ To Die Is Gain

I have already said that this is how it will be until your death. Just as night follows day, so light and darkness will alternate in your soul.(Jesus) (September 4, 1964)

Today’s Readings:

For to me life is Christ, and death is gain.
If I go on living in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me.
And I do not know which I shall choose.
I am caught between the two .(Philippians 1)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, our lives can be a roller coaster- up and down, light and dark. Nothing comes to us that does not come from Your Hand. Lord we only have this life to let You live through us- to labor in Your vineyard- yet we know that when our lives are over we gain Heaven where we will behold You for all Eternity if we are but faithful! Lord God please help us whether we are struggling in darkness or walking in Your Marvelous Light to live for You in each moment! All of our moments belong to You!

Chosen And Loved — October 27, 2022

Chosen And Loved

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Feast of Saints Simon and Jude

Chosen and Loved

You, My little one, must stir up the fire because you have been chosen for this. This is a great privilege. Never interrupt your desires and sacrifices because this would cause My mother great sorrow.” (Jesus) (July 12, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:
You are no longer strangers and sojourners,
but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones
and members of the household of God,
built upon the foundation of the Apostles and prophets. (Ephesians 2)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, as we celebrate the Feast of Saint Simon and Jude we meditate on what is means to be chosen for Your work of redemption. Because we are not strangers to You but members of Your household built upon the Apostolic foundation of the those who have gone before, fellow citizens with the saints. So let us stir up the fire in our hearts because we have been chosen by You to spread Your Kingdom on Earth no matter our state in life. All are called to desire this Kingdom to come into our hearts and into our families and to make loving sacrifices, as simple as a smile when we don’t feel like it or a sharp word held back out of love for You, because we are chosen and loved!

Battle Ready —

Battle Ready

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday of the Thirtieth Week of Ordinary Time

Battle Ready!

The Evil One has me so confused that I say the Rosary with

my lips, but not as I usually do. Instead, I keep repeating, “I believe

in you, O miraculous Virgin.” I only say this with my lips, but my

mind and my heart refuse to accept it. I want to cry for not being

able to believe. The Evil One insists that this is my interpretation.

With all my strength, I resist his intrusions.  (Elizabeth) (September 7-8, 1962)

Today’s Readings:

Brothers and sisters:
Draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power.
Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm
against the tactics of the Devil.
For our struggle is not with flesh and blood
but with the principalities, with the powers,
with the world rulers of this present darkness,
with the evil spirits in the heavens.
Therefore, put on the armor of God,
that you may be able to resist on the evil day (Ephesians 6)

Prayer Meditation: Lord, every day is a battle! We fight not flesh and blood but the enemy of our souls! Lord may we do a daily wardrobe check- helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shoes of peace, shield of faith to fight off the darts of the enemy, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word spoken out loud! Train our hands for battle Lord (Psalm 144)- and may our hands hold firmly to the Holy Rosary, the weapon for our times!

Working Unto The Lord — October 25, 2022

Working Unto The Lord

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Wednesday of the Thirtieth Week of Ordinary Time

Working Unto The Lord

The supervisor continually oversaw the good functioning of these machines and was ready to

stop them immediately. He did not want a hundredth of a millimeter of error.”

Jesus used this memory to describe Himself as her supervisor. “I remind you of these facts so

you see that you gained success from your application and your conscientious work, not from

your knowledge (Jesus) (November 10, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Slaves, be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling,

in sincerity of heart, as to Christ,

not only when being watched, as currying favor,

but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

willingly serving the Lord and not men,

knowing that each will be requited from the Lord

for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free (Ephesians 6)

Prayer Meditation- Lord we all know work can feel like slavery and drudgery not matter what kind of work we do, even if we work at home or within our families. But we are not working unto man but unto You! Lord let us offer our conscientious work to You as a loving sacrifice today to glorify You and to save souls!

Our Purpose In Life — October 24, 2022

Our Purpose In Life

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of the Thirtieth Week of Ordinary Time

Our Purpose In Life

You know, do you not, that I invited you to My private

war camp? Do not be attracted by the passing comfort of this

world. The coming of My Kingdom must be your only purpose in

life. My words will reach a multitude of souls consecrated to Me.

Trust! My grace will be with you and I will help all of you in a miraculous

way.” (Jesus) (August 8, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Today’s Readings: Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like?

To what can I compare it?

It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden.

When it was fully grown, it became a large bush

and ‘the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.'”

Prayer Meditation- Lord Your Kingdom starts small- little seeds that grow in our hearts and souls. Some of us are blessed to have been baptized and brought up in the faith. Others have come into the Kingdom later in life. The Kingdom grows in us slowly watered by Your Grace as we grow in virtue from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) if we do our part and allow You to change us. Lord, grow the Kingdom each day in our hearts and in our family members as we sow seeds of faith into the hearts of those we love! Let it be our only purpose in life that with Your Grace we will fight with You as Children of the King to save souls!

The God Who Sees Us —

The God Who Sees Us

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Monday of the Thirtieth Week of Ordinary Time

The God Who Sees Us

Nevertheless, I will work a miracle. I will so bless the problem which seems impossible that all will be straightened out.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus was teaching in a synagogue on the sabbath. And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect. When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, “Woman, you are set free of your infirmity.” He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God. (Luke 13)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, so many of us may be crippled by many things. It could be an actual physical infirmity but it can also be our own pride, weakness, or sin which keeps us bent over and unable to keep our eyes on You! Lord, You see all and you want all to be free! Help us Lord- make our crooked ways straight (Isaiah 45:2) so that we can stand up with the dignity You have intended for all of Your children! Lord You are the lifter of our heads (Psalm 3:3)- help us to keep our eyes on what is above!

Be Merciful To Me A Sinner — October 22, 2022

Be Merciful To Me A Sinner

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thirtieth Sunday of Ordinary Time

Be Merciful To Me A Sinner

“How good of You to come! Truly, You do not despise me. Because I am a sinner, You double Your strength in me. What goodness, what limitless compassion You have for a repentant sinner.” For a long time, I gave thanks for His infinite mercy. (Elizabeth) (November 22, 1962)

Today’s Readings: But the tax collector stood off at a distance
and would not even raise his eyes to heaven
but beat his breast and prayed,
‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.’
I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former;
for whoever exalts himself will be humbled,
and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today we hear at Mass about the Pharisee and the tax collector. The Pharisee praises himself with his laundry list of spiritual practices. Those of us who strive to follow You can easily fall into the same fault if we are not careful- Rosary, check, Fasting, check, Daily Mass, check. It means nothing without love. Lord let us come to You like the tax collector, fully aware of who we are and who You are. You are God and we are not! Let us come with all our faults and failures because what limitless compassion You have for a repentant sinner. Even spiritual pride is deadly- Lord may we always bring humble and grateful hearts to You because only You can fix what is broken in us!
