May Our Feet Journey Together- Keep Watch Of Your Thoughts — April 30, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Keep Watch Of Your Thoughts

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He and I

April 30—After Communion. “Keep watch on your thoughts; they control your words and actions. Dwell upon My thoughts, so full of kindness and compassion, and you will do My deeds.”

Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8).

16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16).

Reflection- O Lord how we so let our thoughts run away from us! And before we know it our thoughts are words and actions that we may later regret. Or we focus so much on ourselves that we cannot see You or others and that also affects what we then say and do. And we wonder why we feel anxious, sad, or even depressed. Yet You tell us not to be conformed to this world but to dwell on Your thoughts so that we will imitate You! That we would know Your Will in all areas of our lives! We can’t know that without meditating on Your Word! So let us put on Your Mind Lord, dwelling only on Your Goodness so worthy of our praise with every heart, thought, word, and breath!

May Our Feet Journey Together-The Open Window — April 27, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together-The Open Window

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He And I

Tonight when you went to your open window to look at the splendid sky strewn with stars whose light glinted among the flowering cherry trees, you listened to the nightingale of the island and you felt the joy of having so powerful a bridegroom. Oh, may this and many other spectacles in nature increase your confidence in Me.” (April 27, 1947)

The heavens are telling the glory of God;
    and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. (Psalm 19:1).

But ask the beasts, and they will teach you;
    the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
or the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;
    and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
Who among all these does not know
    that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every living thing
    and the breath of all mankind. (Job 12:7-10).

Bless the Lord, all works of the Lord,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
36 Bless the Lord, you heavens,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
37 Bless the Lord, you angels of the Lord,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
38 Bless the Lord, all waters above the heaven,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
39 Bless the Lord, all powers,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
40 Bless the Lord, sun and moon,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever.
41 Bless the Lord, stars of heaven,
    sing praise to him and highly exalt him for ever. (Daniel 3:35-41)

Reflection- O Lord how often do we ignore what is right in front of us- the beauty of creation! And yet You created the Earth for us- made in Your likeness and image! You hold all of creation in Your Mighty Hand! And we can have confidence that the God who even the wind and the sea obey (Mark 4) holds our every heartbeat, breath, thought, word, and deed as well our sufferings also in Your Mighty Hand! So let us sing praise placing our I love You on all of creation for Your Glory and the good of all!

May Our Feet Journey Together- Merging Hearts — April 26, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Merging Hearts

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He and I

April 26—“Lord, Your poor little girl, Your poor image, is here before you, yearning for You with all the strength of her being.”

“Have you noticed how people talk among themselves, discussing all their personal affairs? They spend so much time this way and it does them so little good. Don’t you think that if they gave themselves to Me, their friend, I should rejoice to have My place in their thoughts and I should know how to reward their confidence munificently? Don’t you think that it would create a moment-to-moment intimacy between them and Me, and this would be a joy for them, because close to Me their lives would lose their tension. “You understand? It would be life together with Me—I carrying the heavy end of things. So again I say, speak with Me, My little ones. Speak with Me. And our hearts will merge. Isn’t this the aim of My Christians? Isn’t that why you want to die? Then begin by living this heart-oneness. Seize upon every opportunity. Find every pretext. You aren’t bold enough. For some of you it is because you are indifferent. “But My close friends, why, why don’t they call louder to Me from their heart’s depths? If only their belief were less like unbelief! If their hope were fixed upon My help . . . And if, in all simplicity, their love loved Me more. I should be there looking after everything in their day, and when night fell, their eyes would close again on My face. “You know what it is to sleep that way—within My embrace? Would you like to learn better? Remember, it’s a question of beginning over and over again. Of trying to grow. Of taking great care not to be satisfied with yourself. But ponder often on your poverty. Tell Me about it and My heart will be all eagerness to help you since you are so little, so weak. And when you call Me, be sure to give Me the most tender names. I’ll recognize the voice.”

Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7).

And I tell you, Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  (Luke 11:9-10).

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2).

Reflection- O Lord we all want to take our problems to anyone who will listen and talk to anybody but You! And yet You wait for us and You ask us to bring everything to You! To cast our cares! And not only to come but to come with confidence because You know what we need before we even ask! You so long for us to lean against Your Sacred Heart, just like St. John at the Last Supper, and to trust You with everything! But how many, even those who are Your closest friends, don’t due to indifference, distrust, or giving in to anxiety and fear. You call us to come to You in our littleness, our nothingness really, and in our weakest moments where we are the most overwhelmed. Not relying on ourselves and our version of our path to sainthood but only on You because You are always eager to help us when we humbly bring all of our concerns to You with childlike faith and trust!

May Our Feet Journey Together- He Is The Flame of Love — April 25, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- He Is The Flame of Love

Daily Devotional Based on The Spiritual Classic He and I

A light bulb was missing in front of the Blessed Sacrament. “Lord, let my heart burn before You there in its place.” “To burn would not be enough. You must be consumed. I mean you must burn right out. This is what I did for you, for all of you. Don’t you feel the desire to do the same for Me? This is what it means to simplify everything in you to a single principle, a single élan toward your great friend. Isn’t this restful? Isn’t it your goal? And don’t you find that this changes your entire being? You can see that My call is blessing, can’t you, and that your response will bring you joy? “O answer! Answer unceasingly. Your strength will increase and you will give it to others so that it will go from soul to soul as a torch is passed from hand to hand. The living spring is your Christ. Drink at the very fountainhead, for the closer you come to the fountain-head the more your cup will run over.

28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29).

 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, (Ephesians 4:1).

They go from strength to strength;
    the God of gods will be seen in Zion. (Psalm 84:7).

And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water without price from the fountain of the water of life. (Revelations 21:6)

Reflection- O Lord You desire that we burn for You, to burn for the Love that consumes us like fire! We make things so complicated and yet it is our simplicity that You desire, our simple love worthy of the calling You have had on our lives since our baptism. Your call is a blessing, transforming us from glory to glory and strength to strength! You are the Living Water, the Living Flame of Love which You want passed from heart to heart, soul to soul for the salvation of souls and the good of all. Blessed Mother, You who hold in Your Immaculate Heart perfectly the Flame of Love, which is Jesus Himself, please show us how to do what Jesus asks for His Glory and the good of all!

May Our Feet Journey Together-Loving Our Prayers! — April 24, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together-Loving Our Prayers!

After Communion. I was saying the Lord’s Prayer. “What other prayer could equal the one I composed myself? . . . “Love your prayers very much, the Our Father, the Hail Mary. You who love works of art, love your prayers. When you pray, I guide the words on your lips as one guides the steps of a little child. (He and I-April 24, 1940)

Pray then like this:

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
    On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread;
12 And forgive us our debts,
    As we also have forgiven our debtors;
13 And lead us not into temptation,
    But deliver us from evil. (Matthew 6:9-13).

He was praying in a certain place, and when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” (Luke 11:1)

and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3-4).

Reflection- Lord we thank You for the beautiful prayers given to us by the Church, given to us by You through Scripture and Tradition. We do not always know how to pray as we ought (Romans 8:26) yet You help us in our weakness. You so want to guide our lips in prayer like little children, to pray in our praying! We love You Lord!

You Can’t Run From Trouble

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of Holy Week

You Can’t Run from Trouble

They avoid what is difficult, as years go on, their soul becomes grey and covered with dust. (Jesus) (December 22, 1963)

Today’s Readings:

Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.” (John 13)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, Peter could talk the talk but couldn’t walk the walk- how many times is that us even in our daily lives. When it gets hard, when the road narrows and gets rocky, we just want to hide and make it all go away. Lord help us not to deny You but follow You even when the path ahead is impossible to see and when we fall. Let us, like Peter ,also humbly realize our brokenness and accept Your forgiveness.

The Great I Am — March 25, 2026

The Great I Am

The Great I Am

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent

The Great I Am

I am grateful to you because your heart suffers with Me, beats in Me. Never tire of contemplating My Sacred Wounds, from which you will always draw strength. Offer yourself to the Eternal Father. Abide within the Most Holy Trinity. (Jesus) (March 4-7, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you,
before Abraham came to be, I AM.” (John 8)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, today let us contemplate Your Greatness and Your Love. The God who came to Earth to free us from the bonds of sin and death. The God who loves us to the end. The God who wishes to dwell and live among us even now in trial and travail. God, You are faithful and Your Everlasting Covenant of Love is forever and always! Let us like Abraham follow You in faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5) because Your promises are true and indeed if we remain in Your Word we will never die but live with You forever! (John 8).

Fiat! — March 24, 2026

Fiat!

Fiat

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Solemnity of the Annunciation of The Lord

Fiat

There has never been a time of grace like this since the Word became Flesh. Blinding Satan will shake the world.” (Mary) (September 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word.” (Luke 1)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we celebrate Our Blessed Mother’s Fiat and we are thankful and rejoice at Her docility to Your Holy Will. Lord we believe that nothing is impossible with You.  You became Man in the darkness of this world at the time of the Annunciation and Your Presence has never left us. Like Our Blessed Mother, we must accept Your Will and walk in faith, even when it all just does not make sense. Lord we believe You are up to something in these times, that Your Mercy and Grace have not left us.  In fact, this is a time of grace as never before. The world seems shaken  but You hold us all in the palm of Your Hand. Let us give our Fiat to Your Holy Will today which is Love and Mercy itself!

If We Only Knew The Gift Of God — March 7, 2026

If We Only Knew The Gift Of God

If We Only Knew The Gift of God

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Third Sunday of Lent

If We Only Knew The Gift of God

Keep this great grace you received from Me in the depth of your soul. It is a special gift of God. (Jesus) (May 4, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus answered and said to her,
“If you knew the gift of God
and who is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink, ‘
you would have asked him
and he would have given you living water.” (John 4)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we read about the Samaritan Woman- so skeptical at first but by the end of the encounter she was a true believer. You showed her everything she ever did and yet You offered Her Your Living Water that she would never thirst again. Today, Lord, so many skeptical and stuck in poor decisions just like the Samaritan Woman. Will we open ourselves to Your Gift of Yourself or will we stay stuck where we are? Lord You thirst for us and nothing we have ever done can keep us from You- only we can keep ourselves from You. May we thirst always for the Living Water that will save our souls and the souls of all we love.

Only His Love Remains — March 4, 2026

Only His Love Remains

Only His Love Remains

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday of the Second Week of Lent

Only His Love Remains

Why do you prefer some passing goal? Do you not trust the value of sufferings? I give value to your sufferings and it causes Me sorrow if you do not appreciate them. (Jesus) (August 16, 1962)

Today’s Readings:

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. He is like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream: It fears not the heat when it comes, its leaves stay green; In the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit. (Jeremiah 17)

Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we put our faith is so many passing things- work, health, family, our country. And yet all things will pass- only Your Love remains. We are pilgrims and one way or another, we will suffer loss, pain, and grief in this world. However, united with Your Love we are like the tree planted beside the still waters of Your Grace and we will not fear.
