“In returning and rest you shall be saved;

12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. (1 Kings 9:12).
Prayer Reflection- O Lord, do we think about how often we deprive You of ourselves. For most of us quite often it may be the majority of our day. We start the day with checking email, followed by consuming media on our commutes or at work or even at home to keep us company and or we are looking down at our phones doom scrolling. Can’t let a quiet moment go to waste with so much media these days to consume! And yet we say we don’t have time for prayer. And we wonder why we live our lives in fear and anxiety. In this beautiful work by Gabrielle Bossis, we hear that we are to wake up in the arms of the Father because each morning is a new creation. And to fall asleep in the Holy Spirit because our last conscious breath should be in love! And in between Lord Jesus, let us walk with You and talk with You and let Your Word, and prayer, and even daily Mass if we can go shape our day so that we can truly let You enter our inner stillness letting You transform us bit by bit!
