Aim beyond your usual reach to think of Me. (Jesus, July 27, 1937)

2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2).

3 Commit your work to the Lord,
    and your plans will be established. (Proverbs 3:16).

15 I will meditate on thy precepts,
    and fix my eyes on thy ways. (Psalm 119:15).

O Lord today on a Monday You ask us to aim beyond our usual reach, to aim higher to think of You! To set our minds on what is above and to meditate on Your Words and keep our eyes on You! O Lord You tell us to aim beyond our “usual” reach- how easy it is for our daily prayers to become routine or for life to get in the way of our resolutions to spend time with You. And before we know it the day is over and we haven’t given You any of it and we wonder why we are anxious, exhausted and stressed out. So let us aim higher, committing all to You, even our work, that Your plans for us and Your Will would be established on Earth as it is in Heaven!
