Come Alive!

“I will explain the words, “True God and true Man.” If this were not true, how could you come closer to Me? I let Myself be known to you as true God and true Man. Not only you, but all those who eat My Body and drink My Blood. As true God, I penetrate your heart and as true Man, I speak to you. (Jesus) (March 4, 1964)

Today’s Readings: How much more will the Blood of Christ, 
who through the eternal spirit offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from dead works to worship the living God. (Hebrews 9)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, You are True God and True Man- through Your Sacrifice offered to the Father You cleanse us of all that is dead in us so that we can worship in spirit and in truth! It is You that call us into close union with You- we cannot do this for ourselves! Lord let us worship You and seek You in Your Word, Sacraments, and through, in and with the Holy Spirit! Lord help our dry bones (Ezekiel 37) and dead hearts come alive in You- breathe on us!

Friday of the Second Week of Ordinary Time

Draw Me Close To You- Never Let Me Go!

“My little one, whenever a magnet attracts something to itself, it does not let go because that would be against the laws of nature. So, I never let go of you or of anyone else because that would be against the law of My Divine Tenderness.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1964)

Today’s Readings: I will put my laws in their minds
and I will write them upon their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.(Hebrews 8)

Prayer Meditation- Lord please write Your law of love in our minds and our hearts- draw us close to You! Lord never let us go- attract us like a magnet to Your Sacred Heart of Divine Tenderness filled with love for us! We are Your People, You are Our God and we love You, praise You, and glorify You and we do so in the name of everyone for all eternity!

Thursday of the Second Week of Ordinary Time

He Is Able

Jesus: “My little one, write down what I now dictate: …You are

mine and this is your guarantee. After your death, will abound in

the treasures of your heart those who will know, bless and glorify

God. God helped you with His boundless grace to have a life filled

with treasures. Those who will live after you on earth can draw

abundantly from these treasures. They will be able to follow the

simple road of your life. By this path, they also can reach Me.” (November 17-18, 1964)

Today’s Readings: Jesus is always able to save those who approach God through him,
since he lives forever to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord You are able always to save us and make us new- You make continual intercession for us. Let us really take this in today. We try so hard to make things happen under our own power and it can so frustrating! Lord Jesus, help us to call out to You to send us Your Neverfailing Grace! It is only by Your Grace that we become able to do Your Will in the present moment of each day. Lord You are able always- we lean on You today and not our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

Second Wednesday of Ordinary Time

Stretch Out Your Hand

I constantly stretch out My hand asking for help. I go from heart to heart and I receive only a small donation. Then they quickly close the door of their heart and I can hardly cast a glance inside.” (Jesus) (May 2, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.”

He stretched it out and his hand was restored. (Mark 3)

Prayer Meditation- Lord You are always stretching out Your Hand to us- You want to walk with us and live inside our hearts! But do we stretch out our hands to You- Lord what is withered and dry and broken in us that we can stretch out to You for healing and restoration? Lord help us not to leave You the crumbs of our days but to let You inside- Lord keep us connected to Your Sacred Heart beating in unison with ours!

Feeling Sluggish?

“Get to work and do not be lazy. I will help all of you in an

almost miraculous way, and my help will always continue. Trust me. Act quickly. Do not put

off my Cause to another day.” (Mary) (October 19, 1962)

Today’s Readings: We earnestly desire each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness

for the fulfillment of hope until the end,

so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who,

through faith and patience, are inheriting the promises. (Hebrews 6)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You have promised that those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24). Lord sometimes it can be so difficult to exercise faith and patience in our daily life, it can be a real struggle. It is so easy to become sluggish and mind numb in our daily duties. Yet, Lord, especially those of us consecrated to You through Mary, have every help from Heaven to succeed in the spiritual life if we just do our part! Lord grant us fortitude and perseverance today!

Monday of the Second Week in Ordinary Time

Out With The Old

Your bad temper will go on, but out of this evil nature, I will accomplish

a masterpiece if you agree to submit to My Divine Hand.

Simply surrender to Me like the wine grapes that are pressed and

transformed into wine, which will become My Precious Blood.

You also will be intoxicated with My Precious Blood, but only if

you are transformed and purified, just like the must, or like the

wheat transformed in My Sacred Body, once it has been ground.

You also will transform yourself only once you have been ground

down and your miserable nature divinized. (Jesus) (September 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings: Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins,
and both the wine and the skins are ruined.
Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins.” (Mark 2)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord sometimes we wonder if we are really fresh wineskins into which You can pour the wine of Your Spirit. So much of the old nature gets in the way- the little pebbles of our human wills! Lord we can’t rid ourselves of our faults and weaknesses ourselves! It is only the vehicle of trust and surrender to You that allows You to do Your Work in us- we are nothing and You are all! Lord work Your masterpiece of Grace in our souls!

Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Behold The Lamb of God

Renounce

yourself and love only Me. Let only the Holy Spirit of Love fill

your heart.  (Jesus) (April 20, 1962)

‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain,
he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.” (John 1)

Prayer Meditation- Today we can almost picture the scene. John the Baptist is baptizing and his disciples are with him and along You come- the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And those disciples pick up and follow because You are the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. Lord so many of us have had life changing encounters with You where we may have picked up after You and our lives changed. Others, maybe the awareness of who You are has come slowly but steadily as Your Grace and Your Spirit of love has filled their hearts. Either way let us renew anew our love for only You- the One who passes by and calls us by name.

Saturday of the First Week of Ordinary Time

Feeling Righteous?

My Elizabeth, I want you to pray so the number of repentant and grateful souls may grow from day to day.” (Jesus) (August 7, 1963)

Today’s Readings: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

Jesus heard this and said to them,

“Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.

I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” (Mark 2)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, who are we at this dinner party- who do we identify with as we meditate on this scene? Do we see ourselves as the sinners? Or are there days quite honestly when we act like the scribes and the Pharisees? Are we just part of some Christian/Catholic Club that prays the right prayers and spends time in our parishes with people like us in ministries where we preach to the choir? Do we get even righteously angry about the state of affairs in the Church and our world but spend our time on the Internet reading and not time in Adoration praying? Because I don’t know about you but I am feeling guilty as charged! Because Lord the truth is I was Matthew- I was all things unholy (St. Francis of Assisi) when You called me to follow You and anything good in me comes from You and You Alone! Lord the key I believe is to remember our littleness and helplessness in the light of Your Grace which reaches down to fill our souls with what we need in every moment of every day. And when we walk in that Grace, we can then extend that Grace to all that we meet and pray and sacrifice for them, not for ourselves. Then the number of repentant and grateful souls will grow from day to day because You have increased in us and we have decreased. (John 3:30)

Friday of the First Week of Ordinary Time

He Saw Their Faith

Jesus: “Oh, how this pleases Me! So few times have I enjoyed

participating in such an intimate banquet. The souls that make reparation

and faithfully follow My desires are so few. (Jesus) (October 18, 1962)

Today’s Readings: They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.

Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd,

they opened up the roof above him.

After they had broken through,

they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to him,

“Child, your sins are forgiven.” (Mark 2)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today we read in the Gospel about the persistence of four friends who would not take no for an answer- too crowded, no worries, let’s just open up the roof and break through! We all want friends like that and we all want to be friends like that because we know that while there may be many obstacles in the way, what our loved ones really need is You! So how are we doing with this? Because in these days it is very common to have even the closest family members away from faith- We say we want the best for our family. But do we really if we are not paying attention to their souls? Lord please help us- if we can’t do the merciful deed or say the merciful thing let us at least say the merciful prayers (Divine Mercy in My Soul) and make sacrifices so that our loved ones would respond to Your Grace! Thank You Lord for the means You are giving us in our times through the Flame of Love to blind Satan and bring everyone to safety on the Ark of Mary! So let’s raise the roof and let’s leave no one behind.

Thursday of the First Week of Ordinary Time

While It Is Today

Jesus: “When you handled the hardening material, you had to do

your work with great circumspection. You had to set aside the material

that was harder than permitted. It was returned to the furnace

and melted again. Many times, My little one, I have to melt again

those hardened souls in the furnace of My love. I do not want them

to be wasted material. My little one, accept that I also meld you

within the flame of My love. I do this to form you according to the

demands of My Heart. Only in this way, was your later formation

possible. (Jesus) (November 10, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Take care, brothers and sisters,
that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart,
so as to forsake the living God.
Encourage yourselves daily while it is still “today,”
so that none of you may grow hardened by the deceit of sin.
We have become partners of Christ
if only we hold the beginning of the reality firm until the end. (Hebrews 3)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, how You lament the hardness of our hearts. So hardened by sin and the cares of this life that we do not hear Your Voice and our hearts grow ever harder. Lord, You so yearn to mold us by throwing our hardened souls into the furnace of Your Love so that none would be wasted. Just as You did not want to waste the leftover fragments following the miracle of the loaves and fishes. You seek to mold us every day by Your sweet inspirations and, when we do not listen, by our circumstances, that we would turn to You with humble trust and surrender. Lord helped us to be encouraged and to encourage each other while it is still “today” because tomorrow is not promised. We are not only partners with You but coheirs (Romans 8:17) as Your children if we would but remain faithful to the end!
