Journey Into The Divine Will- Divine Will Calendar Day By Day

How Jesus Was Nailed To The Cross In The Will Of His Father

For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40)

Volume 7- February 23, 1906– This morning I was thinking of Our Lord in the act in which they were nailing Him to the cross; I was compassionating all of Him, and blessed Jesus told me: “My daughter, not only my hands and feet were nailed to the cross, but all the particles of my Humanity, soul and Divinity were all nailed in the Will of the Father. In fact, the crucifixion was the Will of the Father, therefore I was nailed and transmuted completely in His Will. This was necessary because, what is sin but withdrawing from the Will of God, from everything that is good and holy which God has given us, believing to be something of one’s own, and offending the Creator? And I, in order to repair for this audacity and for this self idol which the creature makes of herself, wanted to dissolve my will completely and live from the Will of the Father at the cost of great sacrifice.”

Prayer Meditation- Self idols, Lord that is what we make of ourselves. Deformed by sin and yet You gave us everything so that we would be good and holy in Your image and likeness. Lord You are the Divine Antidote and may we gaze on You this Lent high and lifted up always united My Jesus to the Will of Our Father! Jesus we believe, we receive, we hope, we adore and we love You in the name of everyone past present and future!

Losing Life To Save It —

Losing Life To Save It

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday After Ash Wednesday

Losing Life to Save It

Jesus: “Do you want to give yourself to Me entirely and without

reserve? I, the Man-God, ask this of you. I need you for My work of

Salvation. What I am asking you now is a total abandonment.

Therefore renounce yourself completely with all your strength and

all your will. You must serve only Me. No one else and nothing

else now exists for you. Only I.” (Jesus) (September 1, 1962)

Todays’ Readings: Then he said to all,
“If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself
and take up his cross daily and follow me.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it,
but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. (Luke 9)

Prayer Meditation- Today in the first reading from Deuteronomy 30 we read that You have put before us life and death- our choice. The Gospel shows us the way forward- You ask us to pick up our cross daily and follow You. Not anything big or heroic, just our own little crosses tailor made for us- our family, our work, our health, all of our difficulties. Lord help us in the everyday to choose life and to bear our crosses with patience and perseverance. All things are passing- only You remain!

Journey Into The Divine Will- Divine Will Calendar Day By Day

Sin Is A Poison; Sorrow Is The Counterpoison

So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. (John 16:22)

Volume 4- February 22, 1903

As I was in my usual state, I saw my adorable Jesus for just a little, and He told me: “My daughter, sin offends God and wounds man, and since it was committed by man, and God was offended, in order for Him to receive full satisfaction, a Man and a God was needed to satisfy for it. The thirty years or so of my mortal life satisfied for the three ages of the world, for the three different states of law: natural, written, and of grace – and for the three different ages of each man: adolescence, youth and old age. I satisfied, I merited and impetrated for all, and my Humanity serves as the staircase in order to ascend to Heaven. But if man does not go up this staircase through the exercise of his own virtues, in vain does he try to ascend, and he will render my work useless for himself.”
On hearing sin being mentioned, I said: ‘Lord, tell me a little bit: why are You so pleased when a soul feels sorrow for having offended You?’ And He: “Sin is a poison that poisons the soul completely and renders her so disfigured as to make my image disappear within her; sorrow destroys this poison and restores my image in her. True sorrow is a counterpoison, and since sorrow destroys the poison, it forms a void in the soul, and this void is filled by my grace. This is why I am pleased – I see the work of my Redemption risen again by means of sorrow.”

Prayer Meditation- O Lord as we begin Lent may we have true sorrow and contrition for our sins and our faults- may we be filled with Your Grace! Fiat!

Now Is The Acceptable Time For Salvation —

Now Is The Acceptable Time For Salvation

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Ash Wednesday

Now is the Acceptable Time for Salvation

Accept faithfully the sacrifices that I ask of you for My

Cause. Many ask repeatedly to share in My works, but when they

must accept a sacrifice from My own hands, they are afraid of Me. (Jesus) (March 4-7, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Do not perform good deeds before men so you can be seen by them. If so, you will receive no reward from your heavenly Father.

When you give an alms, do not blow a trumpet, as hypocrites do. They already have their reward. Give your alms in secret. Then, your Father, who sees in secret, will repay you.

When you pray, go to your room and pray in secret. Your Father who sees in secret, will repay you. (Matthew 6)

Prayer Meditation- Now is the acceptable time the Second Reading says today, the time for salvation. It is Ash Wednesday ready or not- time to accept faithfully the sacrifices the Church asks of us. Prayer, fasting, almsgiving. It can seem overwhelming but You see our hearts. Lord, help us to seek You in silence so that we would understand the inner movements of our hearts and Your Will for us this Lent. Help us to accept the sacrifices You are asking of us- is it  chocolate or anger, wine or fear, candy or worry- or is it a little of all of these alternatives. Lord let us lay down the little pebbles of our will- living in Your Divine Will is the sanctity of sanctities  but it requires dying to whatever is in the way so we can rise again perfected in Your Love and Grace this Easter.

Journey Into The Divine Will- Divine Will Calendar Day By Day

February 21, 1902- Volume 4The speaking of Jesus was simple, so much so, that both the learned and the most ignorant could comprehend it.

35 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:[a]\“I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:35)

“My speaking was simple, so much so, that both the learned and the most ignorant could comprehend it, as appears clearly in the Holy Gospel. But the preachers of these times mix so many loops and quibbles with it, that the peoples remain starved and bored. It shows that they do not draw it from the fount of my spring.”

Prayer Meditation- O Lord You speak to us like little children and it is the little children, not the learned and the wise who understand (Matthew 11). Let us this Lent enter into our littleness and nothingness so that we would hear Your Voice and enter into Your Most Holy and Divine Will for the good of all and for Your Glory!

Prepare For Trials

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Prepare for Trials

At some moments, the Lord’s wonderful brilliance lights up my soul and I see things clearly. When these short moments pass, I return to my painful state. (Elizabeth) (January 20, 1963)

Today’s Readings: My son, when you come to serve the LORD,

stand in justice and fear,

prepare yourself for trials.

Be sincere of heart and steadfast,

incline your ear and receive the word of understanding,

undisturbed in time of adversity. (Sirach 2)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord You have told us that to follow You in this life means that we will have trials and tribulations. Lord You have asked us to be steadfast and incline our ear toward Your Word at all times that we may be undisturbed in time of adversity. O Lord trials and times of darkness can be painful but You are always with us and You never leave us- Your wonderful brilliance is always shining on our souls. Lord You have promised that in this life we will have troubles but to take heart because You have overcome the world (John 16:33) and so we keep our eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) and keep our ears tuned to Your Word!

Journey Into The Divine Will Day By Day- Divine Will Calendar February 19 — February 19, 2023

Journey Into The Divine Will Day By Day- Divine Will Calendar February 19

The Soul Is Like A Canvas Which Receives The Portrait Of The Divine Image

Not that I complain of want; for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. 13 I can do all things in him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:10-13)

2/19/02 Volume 4- “My daughter, in my public ministry the use of my voice is necessary so as to make Myself understood, but in my private ministry my presence alone is enough for everything. In fact, seeing Me and understanding the harmony of my virtues in order to copy them within oneself is all the same. So, the attention of the soul must be on seeing Me and on conforming, in everything, to the interior operations of the Word; because when I draw the soul to Myself, it can be said that at least for the time in which I keep her in my presence, she lives divine life. My light is like the brush with which to paint; my virtues provide the different colors, and the soul is like a canvas, receiving the portrait of the Divine Image within herself. It happens as to those high bridges: the higher they are, the deeper below them drops a pouring rain. In the same way, before my presence, the soul puts herself in the place that befits her – that is, at the bottom, in her nothingness, so much so, as to feel herself being destroyed; and the Divinity pours grace in torrents upon her, and reaches the point of submerging her within Itself. Therefore, she must be content with everything – content if I speak, content if I do not speak.”

Prayer Meditation– O Lord how often we say we just want to hear Your Voice- we may feel dry and deprived of Your Presence,. We do not realize that it is when we feel nothing and indeed are nothing and at times may well feel we are destroyed and have no idea where You are- it is then that You pour out Your Grace and Your Divine Life into us! So let us be content always in all things, in abundance and in want, whether we feel You are there or not because we can do all things, and can only really do anything all in You who strengthens us! We are Your Canvas, make us in Your Divine Image! Fiat!

No Such Thing As Impossible —

No Such Thing As Impossible

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Monday of the Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

No Such Thing as Impossible

Nevertheless, I will work a miracle. I will so bless the problem which seems

impossible that all will be straightened out.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to him,

“‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”

Then the boy’s father cried out, “I do believe, help my unbelief!” (Mark 9)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we so lack faith and trust sometimes! We come to You with timidity, so weak in faith and lacking in confidence. “If You can” we whisper with nothing but a faint hope flickering in our hearts. And yet You take that flicker and if we but trust, You fan that tiny mustard seed of faith and fan it into a flame! Lord please help our unbelief and increase our faith- with You there is no such thing as impossible! Jesus we trust in You!

His Kind Of Perfect — February 18, 2023

His Kind Of Perfect

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

His Kind of Perfect

If we refer to the Flame

of Love, the Lord Jesus will enlighten our intellect to know what

we must do, for example, how we can choose between two things

and which is the most perfect and represents the Will of God. (Elizabeth) (July 11,1975)

Today’s Readings: But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?
Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only,
what is unusual about that?
Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5)

Prayer Meditation- Lord it seems so daunting, nay, impossible to be perfect as You are perfect. Might as well give up now because Lord, really do You know who You are talking to? We want to love our enemies and to do good but that flesh, that concupiscence just gets in the way. Lord, how do we do this because You do not ask the impossible, everything is possible with You! (Matthew 19:23) As Your ways are not our ways  (Isaiah 55) is it possible that Your Perfect is not our perfect? You are not looking for anxious perfectionism but the kind of Perfect that drives out all fear! (1 John 4:18). Lord, helps us to slow down and quiet our little monkey minds so that we can let You enlighten our intellect to know what we must do and what is most perfect and represents Your Divine Will! Lord God help us to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10) and we are not!

Faith Not Seen But Believed —

Faith Not Seen But Believed

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Saturday of the Sixth Week of Ordinary Time

Faith Not Seen But Believed

You

act as though you did not have a heavenly Father who takes care of

you. Set the earth ablaze with your burning desires. Use your sacrifice

made from pure love to burn away all sin. Do you not believe

this is possible? Just trust Me. Your faith and trust will give

strength to a million souls to persevere. (Jesus) (August 7, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:
Faith is the realization of what is hoped for
and evidence of things not seen.
Because of it the ancients were well attested.
By faith we understand that the universe was ordered by the word of God,
so that what is visible came into being through the invisible. (Hebrews 11). Prayer Meditation- Faith, the evidence of things unseen! Not what we can see, what we expect, even what we hope for. As a matter of fact it is more than we can ask or think! (Ephesians 3:20). We say we have faith but do we really? Do we worry, complain, live in anxiety or fear- than we are really practical atheists acting like an unbelievers and not like we have a heavenly Father who takes care of us always. So let us set the Earth ablaze with our burning desires for You Lord, purify our love as we trust in You! Lord this Lent, let us give You our time- in prayer, in adoration, in Your Word and use our faith and trust to save souls
