Ready When He Calls

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of the Twenty Ninth Week of Ordinary Time

Ready When He Calls

I go from heart to heart and I receive only a small donation. Then they quickly close the door of their heart and I can hardly cast a glance inside.” (Jesus) (May 2, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them. And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, how many times do You come to us each day and our hearts are far from You, We quickly close the door after a few prayers and get on with our busy day, we do not really let You inside. Lord, help us always to be prepared because You are always passing by, just like You were passing by the Apostles on the water (Mark 6). Help us always be ready to let You in! Help us always to be prepared for You may call for us to come to You at any time! Let us live in union with You in our hearts!

Good Works Prepared In Advance

Write what I say: Any person, in any place, who will read this Divine Emanation with which I honored you yesterday, will also (nobody is excluded) share in the outpouring of My graces that I will pour out over the souls by virtue of your merits united to mine, as a payment in advance for the drops of oil flowing from your sufferings.” (Jesus) (January 20, 1964)

Today’s Readings: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast. For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them. (Ephesians 2)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we are saved by Grace and not anything we are doing which is a great relief! Faith is a gift! You have asked us though to cooperate with Your Grace to do the good works that have been prepared for us in advance. At times of our life, that may be exterior activity and serving the Church. At other times, and really at all times, it is prayer and also acceptance of sufferings that can bear the most fruit. Lord, help us to be docile to what You asking of us through the sacrament of the present moment offering all for love of You and salvation of souls!

Daily Lectio- Yes, Boldly! —

Daily Lectio- Yes, Boldly!

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Meditation- Yes, boldly! Not please, please, please. Not wimpy prayers but in total trust tell Him what you need! Ask, seek, and knock! God knows what we need before we ask but He still wants you to ask. So ask in faith and trust- hold out a big cup!

Prayer- Jesus we trust in You!

Boldly To The Throne Of Grace — October 19, 2024

Boldly To The Throne Of Grace

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Twenty Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Boldly To the Throne of Grace!

Our Lord praised her sacrifices and prayers. “Sacrifice and prayer! These are you instruments. The goal is to bring about the powerful work of Salvation. Oh, if your desires reach the throne of the heavenly Father, the results will be abundant.” (Jesus) (July 22-23, 1963)

Today’s Readings: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we do not have a high priest who does not know what we are going through! You gave all so that we could be free! You want us to come boldly to the Throne of Grace, with total trust and abandonment. Yet our best instruments are prayer and sacrifice with the desire to please You and save souls! Like John and James in today’s Gospel we can have silly and immature wants and needs, O Lord, purify our hearts and desires in conformity to Your Perfect Will which is Love and Mercy itself!

Daily Lectio- He Cares For You! —

Daily Lectio- He Cares For You!

What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? (Psalms 8:4)

Meditation- O Lord You are mindful of us and love us so much that You became one of us and suffered all that we suffer. You also came to repair and restore all of our acts in Your Most Holy Divine Will and then made the ultimate sacrifice of Your Life for ours! What is man- Your dearly beloved sons and daughters made in Your Likeness and Image!

Prayer- Let us pray the Our Father knowing You have loved us into existence from all eternity!

Memorial of Saints John de Brébeuf and Isaac Jogues

Led by The Spirit to Speak

“Do not be surprised, my little instrument, that you cannot speak eloquent words. I am the one who acts and who enkindles the Flame of Love in the depth of hearts. (Mary) (December 17, 1962)

Today’s Readings: When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what your defense will be or about what you are to say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.” (Luke 12)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, so often we want to speak eloquent words in defense of the Faith or of You! Often we find ourselves tongue tied or confused especially when we meet opposition because we are trying to do this under our own power! Lord purify our hearts and minds and our speech- let Your Holy Spirit let us know when we should speak and when we should be quiet in humility. We are Your Instruments- Lord use us for Your Glory!

Near To All Who Call —

Near To All Who Call

The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth. (Psalms 145:18)

Meditation- Lord we so often forget that You are always right there, never far from us but near to us always even during our busiest days and hard seasons. Let us call You always into all of our actions, thoughts, words, and deeds. Even into every heart beat and every breath! Jesus breathe in our breathing, speak in our speaking, think in our thinking!

Prayer- Jesus Son of God have mercy on me, a sinner! Jesus I trust in You!

The Laborers Are Few — October 17, 2024

The Laborers Are Few

The Laborers Are Few

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Feast of Saint Luke, Evangelist

The Laborers are Few

The souls that make reparation and faithfully follow My desires are so few.”(Jesus) (October 18, 1962)

Today’s Readings: He said to them,
“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest. (Luke 10)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today we celebrate St. Luke. St. Luke’s Gospel ,of the four, is the Gospel of Your Mercy and Love and desire for healing for the lost and the broken. In the Gospel today we see the sending of the 72- today Lord You send us out today in this broken world, just a few laborers in an ever growing harvest of souls in need of Your Grace. Lord, help us to be the ones who make reparation and faithfully follow Your desires for the salvation of souls! Let us be merciful in our words and deeds and never discount the power of prayer and intercession to bring in the harvest of souls for You!

Daily Lectio- His Will Made Known —

Daily Lectio- His Will Made Known

For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ. (Ephesians 1:19)

Meditation- O Lord You have given us the gifts of the Holy Spirit including wisdom and insight. To know Your Most Holy and Divine Will! But where do we learn Your Will- it is in Your Word! Through meditating on Scripture and applying it to our lives. It is there that we find our purpose in Christ in whom we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). All things are complete in You Lord and Your Most Holy and Divine Will is a mystery which You keep revealing to us through all Eternity!

Prayer- Thy Kingdom come, thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!

The Lord Has Made Known His Salvation — October 16, 2024

The Lord Has Made Known His Salvation

The Lord Has Made Known His Salvation

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Memorial of Saint Ignatius of Antioch

The Lord Has Made Known His Salvation

“My Mother, why do you not work miracles like you did at Fatima so people may believe in you?” Mary: “The greater the miracles, my little one, the fewer those who believed in me. I asked for the First Saturdays and they never heeded my request. I am your gentle and understanding Mother. United with you, I will save you. (Elizabeth/Mary) (April 13, 1962)

Today’s Readings: The LORD has made his salvation known:
in the sight of the nations he has revealed his justice.
He has remembered his kindness and his faithfulness. (Psalm 98)

Prayer Meditation- Our Mother who has been coming more and more to Her Children like any good Mother would- to warn us, protect us, and save us. In Fatima, the last apparition brought with it a miracle- the Miracle of the Sun for the whole world to see thanks to the media of the time. Lord, You did indeed make salvation known in the sight of the nations! And yet, even after such a miracle, it was business as usual here on planet Earth. We did not heed Your Mother’s request for First Saturdays- for prayer and sacrifice including the Rosary. And yet Lord, You do not give up on Your kindness and Your faithfulness. Even in these sad times, You have given us the lifeboat- the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Ark of Safety for our times! So let us repent, which means simply to turn around, and let us return to You offering our nothingness in love for the Love which never lets us go because You have made known Your Salvation! Let us correspond to Your Grace!
