Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures
Friday of the Twenty Seventh Week of Ordinary Time
Gathering with Jesus
“May our souls be in harmony. In this way, our hands will gather in unity. Now I fill your heart with the feeling of My Divinity. Oh, that we might gather together as much as possible!” (Jesus) (October 18, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. (Luke 11)
Prayer Meditation- Lord it is hard to believe that You were accused of working for the devil in today’s Gospel, casting out demons in the name of Beelzebub. At the same time we see such disunity in Your Body where even believers don’t always trust other believers. Lord we pray that we would not be a House Divided because You prayed that we would all be one (John 17). Lord may we as Christians in this time not forget the mission which is to gather souls into Your Kingdom. Let us offer our prayers, works, joys and sufferings for the salvation of souls and for love of You today- let we walk together with You our hands gathering in unity!

Asking, Seeking, Finding
“Sacrifice and prayer! These are you instruments. The goal is to bring about the powerful work of Salvation. Oh, if your desires reach the throne of the heavenly Father, the results will be abundant.” (Jesus) (July 22-23, 1963)
Today’s Readings: “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, how timid are our prayers- how limited are our requests! You have asked us to seek You with our whole hearts! You have asked us to knock on the door even if it seem the answer is no- to be persistent and to not give up. To come boldly to the Throne of Grace (Hebrews 4:16)! Lord let us rest on Your Promises today as we come to You with boldness- let us also pray with Our Mother as we hold Her Hand as we pray the Holy Rosary!

Wednesday of the Twenty Seventh Week of Ordinary Time- Our Lady of Champion
Teach Us To Pray
Then the sweet Redeemer asked me to pray with Him the prayer that expresses His deepest desires: May our feet journey together, May our hands gather in unity, May our hearts beat in unison, May our souls be in harmony, May our thoughts be as one, May our ears listen to the silence together, May our glances profoundly penetrate each other, May our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father. I made this prayer completely mine. The Lord meditated on it many times with me, asserting that these are His eternal longings. He taught me this prayer, so I would in turn teach it to others. With all our strength and mind, let us make our own His eternal thoughts and burning desires. (Jesus) (May 1962)
Today’s Readings: Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say:
Father, hallowed be your name, your Kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test.”
Prayer Meditation: Today on this Feast Day of Our Lady of Champion we come to You Lord and we ask with the disciples to teach us to pray! You have given us the Our Father and through the angel Gabriel, the Angelic Salutation, the Hail Mary. And these basic prayers open up the Kingdom to us if we really meditate on them. Through Our Lady, You have given us the Most Holy Rosary and through the Rosary we can take our minds off of ourselves and our many words (Proverbs 10:19) and meditate on the mysteries of the lives of Jesus and Mary, still alive to us, and grab hold of whatever we need in the present moment. Do we need humility, patience, courage, faith, hope, love- all of the virtues of Jesus and Mary are there for the taking in the mysteries of the Rosary. Lord, let us truly unite with You and the Blessed Mother as we offer our whole selves in meditating on these mysteries in our hearts and with our hearts today and every day. There is no problem, no matter how difficult, that cannot be solved with the Rosary (Sister Lucia)

Tuesday of the Twenty Seventh Week of Ordinary Time
Anxious About Many Things
“I, your Master, will care for you. I will free you from every worry. I only want to be everything to you so that nothing ties you to the earth.” (Jesus) (April 20, 1964)
Today’s Readings: The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.” (Luke 10)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, You know us in and out. So many suffer from anxiety and stress- how many prayers to You are just one complaint after another! Yet You ask only one thing – all You really want is our hearts so that You can set us free! You told Saint Faustina that anxiety is an obstacle to holiness- it makes it hard to practice virtue. Lord only You can free us from this thorn in our flesh (2 Corinthians 12). Your Grace is sufficient- Jesus I trust in You!
And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all you heart, and with all your souls, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
Mediation- Lord the scholar in today’s Gospel asks You just who is our neighbor. It should seem simple but this scholar and really all of us choose to justify ourselves. How we love to make simple concepts complicated. Nuanced we may call it. And we miss so many opportunities to love and serve! Lord today You show us that anyone we come across in our path today- a stranger in distress, a family member having a bad day, a co-worker who is on our last nerve is indeed our neighbor. And just how are we a true neighbor to others. Well You tell us in the Gospel by showing mercy. We can show mercy in deed, in word, or when nothing else is possible in prayer. But show mercy we must, it is the heart of the Gospel!
Prayer Lord Jesus show us always the merciful deed, word, or prayer that is right in all situations because all are indeed our neighbors! May we love with Your Love!

Memorial of Our Lady of The Rosary
Bearers of Divine Mercy
Jesus: “I choose you, My little one, to be the bearer of My Divine Mercy. Fill yourself with the abundance of My Divine Mercy and when you open your mouth to speak, proclaim the mercy of My Heart burning of desire for sinners. Let your whole life be a burning desire to take part in My work of Redemption through prayer, sacrifice and desire.” (Jesus) (May 4, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Which of these three, in your opinion, was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?” He answered, “The one who treated him with mercy.” Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10)
Prayer Meditation: Lord today in the Gospel we have the beautiful story of the Good Samaritan. The scholar of the law thinks he know it all and in trying to trick You asks, who is my neighbor? Because there were many laws of man never intended by You at that time which stated in great detail who were the neighbors of the Jewish people at the time and who were not. But Lord, You came for everyone, Your Mercy is for all! And You ask us to be bearers of Your Divine Mercy, that we would burn with desire for the salvation of souls! The Divine Mercy Diary tells us the how to- acts of mercy, especially spiritual acts of mercy which all can do, words of mercy if we cannot always act, and prayers of mercy which even the sick and homebound can do! So what about us? Who are our neighbors? Well in the Flame of Love, we pray for everyone, we spread the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary over all humanity! So let’s get busy- let’s make our wholes lives burn with the desire to take part in Your Redemption through prayer, sacrifice, and desire. Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us!
No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. (1 John 4:12)
Meditation- O Lord, the antiphon is perfect for the Gospel reading about marriage today. Marriage is a vocation ultimately filled with sufferings and dying to ourselves . It can seem so impossible but this antiphon is the key. Because Lord, we have never seen You and yet it is in loving one another that You abide in us and it is Your Love which is perfected in us! And it is Your Love in us that allows us to truly love with a love that never says enough!
Prayer- O Lord, fill us with Your Love that we can truly love with Your Love perfected in us!

Twenty Seventh Sunday of Ordinary Time
Walk This Way
Jesus said, “Renounce the reading of frivolous books, the hearing of your favorite music, and your seeking to be among others. On your walks, think only of My Sacred Passion.” (Jesus) (May 4, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Blessed are you who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways! For you shall eat the fruit of your handiwork; blessed shall you be, and favored. (Psalm 128)
Prayer Meditation- Lord we bless You, we glorify You and we thank You for inviting us to walk in Your Ways. Lord may our feet journey together! Lord we cannot walk in Your Ways if we cannot hear Your Voice. We will veer quickly to the right or to the left (Isaiah 30:21) Let us turn down the noise of the world and keep our eyes fixed on You! Let us meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary in love and gratitude for all that You have done for us as we hold Mary’s Hand following You and the Blessed Mother because these Mysteries are outside of time and they apply to us today no matter what situation or circumstances we find ourselves in. The Rosary will lead us surely on the path that is level and smooth (Isaiah 26:7)- the little narrow way of sanctification for Your Glory and for the salvation of souls!
It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statues. (Psalms 119:71)
Meditation- O Lord we may not like to be afflicted- to suffer anything really let alone something really serious. We want our Heaven here. And yet it is in our sufferings that often we find You not only to teach us Your ways but to compassionate us and suffer with it because You hold every tear we cry in Your Hands! And we praise You Lord because as in 2 Corinthians 1:4 You are the God who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. Lord we are to take all that we have learned and all that we have been given in our hardest pains and use that suffering to comfort and console others! So Lord, help us not complain in our sufferings, thus wasting them, but help us to be not only resigned but truly surrendered as we pray Jesus I trust in You!
Prayer- O Lord, we thank You in all circumstances and we know that You never abandon us or forsake us. May we not only offer our sufferings to You to do with them as You will but may we compassionate and help others just as You console us in our pain and misery! Jesus we trust in You!

Saturday of the Twenty Sixth Week of Ordinary Time- Saint Faustina
Revealed To The Childlike
My teaching, My little one, is simple and unaffected. I do not speak a scientific language that saves no one. My teaching is for those whose soul is childlike, simple, innocent, and does not give weight to anything, those who listen to Me with admiration and believe in Me. I tell you, My Kingdom belongs to those who are such. (May 19, 1963)
Today’s Readings: ”At that very moment he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. (Luke 10)
Prayer Meditation- Prayer Meditation- Lord today we celebrate the memorial of St. Faustina the secretary of Divine Mercy!! Lord I thank You for her, I cannot imagine how lost I would be white knuckling it on the narrow way without the beautiful revelations about Your Love and Mercy in the diary Divine Mercy in My Soul! It is by staying little, the helpless children we really are and living the ABC’s of Mercy that we discover the heart of The Gospel! Your teaching is meant for the childlike and the simple- how You see us all as Your dearly beloved sons and daughters as you ask us to Ask for mercy, Be merciful to others, and have complete Confidence and trust in You! So today, let us celebrate with our Sister Faustina because we are all little ones fully known and loved by You!
