Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures
Saturday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time
Bending In The Wind
Whoever serve Me, My little one, cannot be a reed bending in the wind. She must persevere firmly at My side with an unshakeable determination. (Jesus) (February 4, 1963)
Today’s Readings: He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?” (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord we are so often reeds bending in the wind at the slightest puff of trouble! In the storms of life big or small we despair of Your Help even though we know You are there sleeping in our small boats! Lord give us unshakable faith and determination even when it seems we are sinking because You are always at our sides!

Sowing Seeds
If, eventually, you ask to speak and it is granted to you, may my power be with you. Let each word be like a seed planted so those listening produce an abundant harvest. (Mary) (July 26, 1971)
Today’s Readings: Jesus said to the crowds: “This is how it is with the Kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, we do not know how the seed will grow or where it will take root, that is not our job. Our job is to be faithful to planting the seeds to spread Your Kingdom here on Earth. Mary’s Flame of Love will ignite many hearts so let The Spirit speak through us when the time is right (Matthew 10) as we sow the seeds of Your Kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Thursday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time
Be A Light
This drop of oil squeezed out by your sufferings, when united to My merits, will fall on those souls who still do not have a lamp. They will be astounded and will seek its cause, and they will find the road that leads to salvation.” (Jesus) (November 10, 1962)
Today’s Gospel: Jesus said to his disciples, “Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed, and not to be placed on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light. Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear. (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation- Lord it seems like the darkness is winning. I sense discouragement all around- people are just beat down in the diabolical disorientation (Sister Lucia) that is our world today. And yet You have asked us to put our lamps on the lampstand- this is no time to retreat from being witnesses to the Gospel. There are so many souls who probably would not even know where they can find a lamp let alone how to light those lamps so that they can find their way to the narrow and broken road that leads to You. Lord we feel crushed on all sides (2 Corinthians 4:8-10) but we cannot give into despair. Squeeze Lord every drop of oil from our sufferings united to Your merits to fall on the souls who are so lost so that they will indeed find this road that leads to salvation.

Third Wednesday of Ordinary Time
Time for Some Weed Whacking?
You know, many souls consecrated to Me have fallen on good and soil and produced abundant fruit. Now they are dispersed. They have no greater dream than to give themselves as fodder to animals. (Jesus) (November 23, 1962)
Today’s Readings:
And some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit. It came up and grew and yielded thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold. ”He added, “Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear.” (Mark 4)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, even those of us who once produced good fruit or are even doing so now should not take for granted the need to keep our gardens pruned! So many thorns can choke Your Word in us! Lord, by Your Sacraments, especially Reconciliation and the Eucharist and faithful meditation on Your Word we can keep the gardens of our souls weed free!

Whoever Does The Will of God
For the teachings and inspirations of the Lord Jesus (of God the Holy Spirit), the Flame of Love of the Blessed Virgin prepares a road in our souls. If we refer to the Flame of Love, the Lord Jesus will enlighten our intellect to know what we must do, for example, how we can choose between two things and which is the most perfect and represents the Will of God. (Elizabeth) (July 11, 1975)
Today’s Readings: And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3)
Prayer Meditation- Lord today You tell us that those who do Your Will are those who are Your true family. Rather than a rebuke to Our Blessed Mother, You were confirming She who always did Your Will perfectly. Lord, we strive to do Your Will but we fill our days and our heads with noise that drowns You out- it is only when we get still with You that we can even hope to hear You! Let us imitate Our Mother who pondered in Her Heart always and so was able to give Her Fiat to Your Holy Will which is love and mercy itself! Begin all your prayers in the presence of God.

Third Sunday of Ordinary Time
The Word Of The Lord Is Perfect
I am your Master and I instruct you. I prepared Myself for three years of activity by thirty years of silence. Being your Master, and united with Me, you will also find wisdom. Speak only when I give you the signal, expressing yourself only in the way you have learned from Me, or in the manner I would say it Myself. In a word, imitate Me. You will see that just a few words can produce good abundant fruits in souls.” (August 16, 1962)
Today’s Readings: He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day. He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.(Luke 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we bless You, we thank You, we love You and we adore You not only because of Your public life and ministry but for the thirty years of silence where You lived the most ordinary life. As a matter of fact, so ordinary that when You came back to Your hometown, it was hard for your neighbors to recognize You as the Word Made Flesh, right before their eyes despite the miracles performed in Capernaum. And yet there You were, speaking life and hope to all who had ears to hear- to set the captives free and we are all captives of sin and death without You. You have come to heal us and restore us- to make us whole and brand new! And what do You ask of us- to run around saying whatever comes to mind, so full our ourselves, to convince others about the truth of the Gospel in our own steam and power? No, You ask us to imitate You- to learn and to be formed by You in the school of silence so that we can hear Your Voice. Because it is Your Voice that will tell us how to love others with Your Love- imitating You, so that our few words ,guided by the Holy Spirit will produce abundant fruit in souls! Yes Lord, Your law is perfect, Your decrees are trustworthy giving wisdom even to our simple souls so may the words our mouths and the thoughts of our hearts find favor in You, O Lord! (Psalm 19)

Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul
Blinded By The Light
As I was kneeling silently before the Lord, a great brightness shone before my spiritual eyes, but I could not see it clearly. It was like a living light which sparkled and sent out small flashing particles in every direction. These particles were smaller than a grain of dust. Nevertheless, even the smallest particle shone with a great flash. (Elizabeth) (May 2, 1962)
Today’s Readings: On his journey, as he was nearing Damascus, a light from the sky suddenly flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” He said, “Who are you, sir?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.(Acts 9)
Prayer Meditation- Lord as I spent time in prayer with You this morning meditating on this well known and loved conversion story of Saint Paul it struck me that he was blinded by Love, Your Flame of Love! Lord, some of us may have had conversion experiences like this where suddenly the scales fall from our eyes. Many of us do not have some “I’ve seen the light” experience but our hearts are illumined by Your Light of Love little by little, maybe kneeling in prayer, spending more and more time seeking Your Face. In any event, when the Your Light hits the darkness of our lives, we are never the same! There is a movie called Full of Grace about the life of Mary after the Ascension. My favorite line is when Mary tells the Apostles whatever they do in their lives to always remember that moment when we felt Your Gaze and saw Your Face! And if we haven’t felt Your Gaze yet, Lord give us faith to ask for this Grace! Because nothing is ever the same after hearts are set on fire with the Flame of Your Love! And if we have forgotten about that moment Lord we ask You to remind us of who we are in You! Lord, like Paul let us now proceed because You have made us Your own. Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead we press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:12-14).

Draw Me Close To You- Never Let Me Go!
“My little one, whenever a magnet attracts something to itself, it does not let go because that would be against the laws of nature. So, I never let go of you or of anyone else because that would be against the law of My Divine Tenderness.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1964)
Today’s Readings: I will put my laws in their minds and I will write them upon their hearts. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.(Hebrews 8)
Prayer Meditation- Lord please write Your law of love in our minds and our hearts- draw us close to You! Lord never let us go- attract us like a magnet to Your Sacred Heart of Divine Tenderness filled with love for us! We are Your People, You are Our God and we love You, praise You, and glorify You and we do so in the name of everyone for all eternity!

Feeling Sluggish?
“Get to work and do not be lazy. I will help all of you in an almost miraculous way, and my help will always continue. Trust me. Act quickly. Do not put off my Cause to another day.” (Mary) (October 19, 1962)
Today’s Readings: We earnestly desire each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of hope until the end, so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who, through faith and patience, are inheriting the promises. (Hebrews 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, You have promised that those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24). Lord sometimes it can be so difficult to exercise faith and patience in our daily life, it can be a real struggle. It is so easy to become sluggish and mind numb in our daily duties. Yet, Lord, especially those of us consecrated to You through Mary, have every help from Heaven to succeed in the spiritual life if we just do our part! Lord grant us fortitude and perseverance today!

Monday of the Second Week in Ordinary Time
Out With The Old
Your bad temper will go on, but out of this evil nature, I will accomplish a masterpiece if you agree to submit to My Divine Hand. Simply surrender to Me like the wine grapes that are pressed and transformed into wine, which will become My Precious Blood. You also will be intoxicated with My Precious Blood, but only if you are transformed and purified, just like the must, or like the wheat transformed in My Sacred Body, once it has been ground. You also will transform yourself only once you have been ground down and your miserable nature divinized. (Jesus) (September 24, 1963)
Today’s Readings: Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins.” (Mark 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord sometimes we wonder if we are really fresh wineskins into which You can pour the wine of Your Spirit. So much of the old nature gets in the way- the little pebbles of our human wills! Lord we can’t rid ourselves of our faults and weaknesses ourselves! It is only the vehicle of trust and surrender to You that allows You to do Your Work in us- we are nothing and You are all! Lord work Your masterpiece of Grace in our souls!
