Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday of the Seventh Week of Easter

I Will Not Be Disturbed

I bless your family greatly. I free them from the Evil One who disturbs the family peace. Just trust in Me.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: I bless the LORD who counsels me; even in the night my heart exhorts me. I set the LORD ever before me; with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed. (Psalm 16)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, how easy it is to let the storms of life disturb our peace. Family strife, illness, work stress, the times we are living in- you name it, our little boats get rocked pretty easily! We forget Who is sailing with us- it may seem to us that You are sleeping and like the Apostles we scream that we are perishing! (Matthew 8:25). Oh we of little faith! Lord, You are always at our right hand- increase our trust and faith Lord that we would keep our peace and not be disturbed no matter what life is throwing at us!

Wednesday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Living in Truth

Do you know what makes the soul to live in truth? The continuous exercise of prayer and sacrifice. Without these, your souls are sick and will die.” (Jesus) (August 6, 1963)

Today’s Readings: I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. (John 17)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, as we read Your beautiful prayer we can hear your care for us in these precious words of Yours. We will live in the world and yet we belong to You! Lord help us to know what makes our souls live in truth- the continuous exercise of prayer and sacrifice. Lord help us to turn off the noise of the world so that we can hear Your Voice in our souls and pray without ceasing giving thanks in all circumstances (I Thessalonians 5:16-18) so that we will always live in Your truth!

Finishing Our Course

“Don’t forget, your principal missionary work will always be your own family. I could not entrust you with that before, because I did not want you to stop halfway. Your family is the point of departure for your mission. This work is not yet finished. Be interested principally in priestly vocations.” (Jesus) (August 28, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Yet I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the Gospel of God’s grace. (Acts 20)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we get so many messages in the world about what our lives are all about- about health, beauty, fitness, and success. These are not all bad but they are not

the purpose of our lives and they can become just so many idols. Lord, You have given all of us a vocation and a course to follow- for most of us in the world it is to love You, love our families, and offer all of our works, joys, prayers, works and sufferings for Your Glory! May we offer all of our daily duties of our state in life to You for the conversion of the world- let us finish our course because the work of love is never finished!

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Monday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Peace in Trouble- He Has Conquered The World

“Now that my Flame of Love has conquered your soul, you must seek with all your might everything I have entrusted you. I give to everyone the power to act. By the effect of grace of my Flame of Love, I will enkindle a light in your soul so that your initial trust remain courageous.” (Mary) (November 21, 1963)

Today’s Readings: I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (John 16)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we know that each day we will have trouble. We will have trouble until You call us home. Yet, You call us to Your peace, the peace that can live in us if we but call Your Name in the midst of our storms. Lord, You have conquered the world- You have conquered sin and death! Through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, may the Flame of Your Love Lord enkindle a light in our souls that we would walk today in trust and courage!

Seventh Sunday of Easter

One Accord to Prayer With Mary

Mary: “My little one, I ask you again to give immediately your confessor the instructions on how to make the night vigils united to the merits of my Divine Son. You have not yet given these to him. I want the holy night vigils – by which I want to save the souls of the dying – to be organized in every parish, so there is not even one moment without someone praying in a vigil. This is the instrument that I place in your hands. By this, you and your companions will save the souls of the dying from eternal damnation. By the light of my Flame of Love, Satan will remain blind.” (Mary) July 9, 1965)

Today’s Readings: When they entered the city
they went to the upper room where they were staying,
Peter and John and James and Andrew,
Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew,
James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot,
and Judas son of James.
All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer,
together with some women,
and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers. (Acts 1)

Prayer Meditation- Oh Lord we praise You, we bless You and we love You because the Blessed Mother, our Mother and Yours took the Apostles at a time of confusion under Her Mantle in the prayer cenacle and prayed the first Novena. Because when You pray with Our Lady, the Holy Spirit will always show up! Our Lady called them then to prayer and She calls us now- for the dying, for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for the lost and the sinners, for the sick and those in need. To save souls because She is Our Mother and She yearns for us to be united with You! She wants no one to be lost but all to be saved and whole in Your Most Holy Divine Will! Blessed Lady take us and place us where we belong in the Divine Fire, share with us Your Immaculate Conception!

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Saturday of the Sixth Week of Easter

In His Name

Ask the Father in My Name and He will grant you whatever you ask for on My behalf. Have confidence and always refer to the Flame of Love of My Holy Mother because the Three Divine Persons are obligated to her. (Jesus) (October 19, 1962).

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to his disciples:
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.
Until now you have not asked anything in my name;
ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John 16)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, why do I feel like You keep asking us to ask You for anything. And why does it seem that we really do not ask You for anything- at least not with the Holy boldness we read about in Hebrews 4:16, to go boldly to the Throne of Grace. Why are our prayers, in a word, wimpy, so afraid to really ask You and say out loud what we really need? Because You are our loving Father who is not about to give us snakes when we really need fishes (Luke 11:11). In fact in that Gospel of Luke we read further about persistent prayer. To “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Even when it is midnight and the door has been long closed! So let’s do it- do we need healing or a miracle perhaps? Or for circumstances to change? Or just for peace in the storm? Lord may we just ask and ask with confidence holding Our Mother’s Hand and in Your Holy and Mighty Name! May our humble prayers be Your Command in Your Most Holy and Divine Will, Fiat! We believe, we receive!

Friday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Many People In This City

Mary: “You can only explain my Flame of Love to others by speaking about it. You have no right to be silent because of cowardice, pride, negligence or fear of sacrifice. (Mary) (Diary Page 283)

Today’s Readings: One night while Paul was in Corinth, the Lord said to him in a vision,
“Do not be afraid.
Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you.
No one will attack and harm you,
for I have many people in this city. (Acts 18)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, especially today, like St. Paul we may all feel afraid to share the Gospel. All we have to do is post something on Facebook to a general audience and watch what happens or say something at a social gathering about faith and check out the response. Our world has become secular. But is it really that or perhaps is it that there is a very loud minority that would want us silent? Because the fact of the matter is that there are many people who have faith and many others who are looking for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15). Lord, I have never known anyone who has turned down prayer or an encouraging word. So let us not be afraid but go on speaking and not let human respect get in the way. How can they know unless someone teaches them ? (Acts 8:31). Blessed Mother, spread the effects of Grace of The Flame of Love over all humanity!

Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord

Waiting for the Power from On High

Have total confidence in Me, this is the key to My Heart. Put aside your doubts. The Holy Spirit whom you invoke frequently will take possession of your soul through Our Mother, His favorite. (March 4-7, 1962)

Today’s Readings: He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, with the Ascension we enter now the time of waiting with great expectancy! You are in Heaven but the promised Spirit has yet to enter hearts! Many of us Lord wait with expectation- we may be waiting to hear about a doctor’s report, waiting to hear about a job or promotion, waiting for a new baby, waiting for a loved one to pass. It is not up to us to know the time or seasons . But we have been promised power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us! We have that power living in us! Lord as we spend the next ten days waiting for Pentecost let us gather with Our Mother, the Mother of the Church in the upper room in fervent and devout prayer! Come Holy Spirit, Come by the means of the power of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Live and Move and Have Our Being

“My little one, your profound sorrow for sins will move many to repentance, and sinners will return to Me.” (Jesus) (April 15, 1964)

Today’s Readings: He made from one the whole human race to dwell on the entire surface of the earth, and he fixed the ordered seasons and the boundaries of their regions, so that people might seek God, even perhaps grope for him and find him, though indeed he is not far from any one of us. For ‘In him we live and move and have our being,’ (Acts 17)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, it seems that the world, at least in the West has become like Athens where St. Paul was preaching. The people are “religious” but it is for idols made from human hands- it really is no different today. St. Paul preached about Your Goodness Lord and Your Providence that we would seek You in whom we live and move and have our being. We cannot take even one breath without you! Lord, let us have profound sorrow for the sins of the world and offer our loving acts of prayer and sacrifice that sinners would return to You.

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of the Sixth Week of Easter

Chain Breaker

Let Him chain me to His Sacred Feet so I would always be united to Him. Thus, I would always feel sheltered. He then asked me to renounce myself because I tend to be distracted and worldly. (Elizabeth ) (Diary Page 35)

Today’s Readings: But Paul shouted out in a loud voice, “Do no harm to yourself; we are all here.” He asked for a light and rushed in and, trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your household will be saved.” (Acts 16)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we read about Paul and Silas in prison, and yet it was the guard and so often us who are in chains. The earthquake that opened the prison doors was the opportunity for the guard to come to You to be saved! So often Lord, it is the earthquakes in our lives that come out of nowhere that do just that- that cause us to tremble in fear and yet if we reach out to You, we will be set free from the chains of sin and darkness that have kept us in prison. Lord help us not to return to being worldly and distracted, to our old lives- break our chains so that we can live united to You!
