I am a wife, mother, and nurse crazy in love with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in His One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church! As a mother in these dark times, I have become drawn to the fully Church approved Flame of Love Diary of Elizabeth Kindleman as the devotion for our times. I believe the Lord is calling me to be a lifeboat for my family! This devotion is all about giving Our Lord love for love so that Our Lady through Her Immaculate Heart can spread the Flame of Love which is Jesus Christ Himself as the greatest grace since the Word Became Flesh! Come Holy Spirit Come by the Means of the Power of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
February 21, 1902- Volume 4– The speaking of Jesus was simple, so much so, that both the learned and the most ignorant could comprehend it.
35 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:[a]\“I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 13:35)
“My speaking was simple, so much so, that both the learned and the most ignorant could comprehend it, as appears clearly in the Holy Gospel. But the preachers of these times mix so many loops and quibbles with it, that the peoples remain starved and bored. It shows that they do not draw it from the fount of my spring.”
Prayer Meditation- O Lord You speak to us like little children and it is the little children, not the learned and the wise who understand (Matthew 11). Let us this Lent enter into our littleness and nothingness so that we would hear Your Voice and enter into Your Most Holy and Divine Will for the good of all and for Your Glory!

Prepare for Trials
At some moments, the Lord’s wonderful brilliance lights up my soul and I see things clearly. When these short moments pass, I return to my painful state. (Elizabeth) (January 20, 1963)
Today’s Readings: My son, when you come to serve the LORD,
stand in justice and fear,
prepare yourself for trials.
Be sincere of heart and steadfast,
incline your ear and receive the word of understanding,
undisturbed in time of adversity. (Sirach 2)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord You have told us that to follow You in this life means that we will have trials and tribulations. Lord You have asked us to be steadfast and incline our ear toward Your Word at all times that we may be undisturbed in time of adversity. O Lord trials and times of darkness can be painful but You are always with us and You never leave us- Your wonderful brilliance is always shining on our souls. Lord You have promised that in this life we will have troubles but to take heart because You have overcome the world (John 16:33) and so we keep our eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) and keep our ears tuned to Your Word!
The Soul Is Like A Canvas Which Receives The Portrait Of The Divine Image
Not that I complain of want; for I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. 13 I can do all things in him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:10-13)
2/19/02 Volume 4- “My daughter, in my public ministry the use of my voice is necessary so as to make Myself understood, but in my private ministry my presence alone is enough for everything. In fact, seeing Me and understanding the harmony of my virtues in order to copy them within oneself is all the same. So, the attention of the soul must be on seeing Me and on conforming, in everything, to the interior operations of the Word; because when I draw the soul to Myself, it can be said that at least for the time in which I keep her in my presence, she lives divine life. My light is like the brush with which to paint; my virtues provide the different colors, and the soul is like a canvas, receiving the portrait of the Divine Image within herself. It happens as to those high bridges: the higher they are, the deeper below them drops a pouring rain. In the same way, before my presence, the soul puts herself in the place that befits her – that is, at the bottom, in her nothingness, so much so, as to feel herself being destroyed; and the Divinity pours grace in torrents upon her, and reaches the point of submerging her within Itself. Therefore, she must be content with everything – content if I speak, content if I do not speak.”
Prayer Meditation– O Lord how often we say we just want to hear Your Voice- we may feel dry and deprived of Your Presence,. We do not realize that it is when we feel nothing and indeed are nothing and at times may well feel we are destroyed and have no idea where You are- it is then that You pour out Your Grace and Your Divine Life into us! So let us be content always in all things, in abundance and in want, whether we feel You are there or not because we can do all things, and can only really do anything all in You who strengthens us! We are Your Canvas, make us in Your Divine Image! Fiat!

No Such Thing as Impossible
Nevertheless, I will work a miracle. I will so bless the problem which seems
impossible that all will be straightened out.” (Jesus) (August 3, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Jesus said to him,
“‘If you can!’ Everything is possible to one who has faith.”
Then the boy’s father cried out, “I do believe, help my unbelief!” (Mark 9)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we so lack faith and trust sometimes! We come to You with timidity, so weak in faith and lacking in confidence. “If You can” we whisper with nothing but a faint hope flickering in our hearts. And yet You take that flicker and if we but trust, You fan that tiny mustard seed of faith and fan it into a flame! Lord please help our unbelief and increase our faith- with You there is no such thing as impossible! Jesus we trust in You!

Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
His Kind of Perfect
If we refer to the Flame
of Love, the Lord Jesus will enlighten our intellect to know what
we must do, for example, how we can choose between two things
and which is the most perfect and represents the Will of God. (Elizabeth) (July 11,1975)
Today’s Readings: But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5)
Prayer Meditation- Lord it seems so daunting, nay, impossible to be perfect as You are perfect. Might as well give up now because Lord, really do You know who You are talking to? We want to love our enemies and to do good but that flesh, that concupiscence just gets in the way. Lord, how do we do this because You do not ask the impossible, everything is possible with You! (Matthew 19:23) As Your ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55) is it possible that Your Perfect is not our perfect? You are not looking for anxious perfectionism but the kind of Perfect that drives out all fear! (1 John 4:18). Lord, helps us to slow down and quiet our little monkey minds so that we can let You enlighten our intellect to know what we must do and what is most perfect and represents Your Divine Will! Lord God help us to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10) and we are not!

Faith Not Seen But Believed
You
act as though you did not have a heavenly Father who takes care of
you. Set the earth ablaze with your burning desires. Use your sacrifice
made from pure love to burn away all sin. Do you not believe
this is possible? Just trust Me. Your faith and trust will give
strength to a million souls to persevere. (Jesus) (August 7, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters: Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. Because of it the ancients were well attested. By faith we understand that the universe was ordered by the word of God, so that what is visible came into being through the invisible. (Hebrews 11). Prayer Meditation- Faith, the evidence of things unseen! Not what we can see, what we expect, even what we hope for. As a matter of fact it is more than we can ask or think! (Ephesians 3:20). We say we have faith but do we really? Do we worry, complain, live in anxiety or fear- than we are really practical atheists acting like an unbelievers and not like we have a heavenly Father who takes care of us always. So let us set the Earth ablaze with our burning desires for You Lord, purify our love as we trust in You! Lord this Lent, let us give You our time- in prayer, in adoration, in Your Word and use our faith and trust to save souls

Friday of the Sixth Week of Ordinary Time
I Don’t Want To Gain The Whole World And Lose My Soul
Many times I was walking around with teary eyes. My love for
the Lord Jesus filled my eyes with tears of repentance. I did not
want to turn my eyes towards the world ever again. I sought only silence
so I could continually hear the Lord’s voice, because from
that day on, He was the One speaking to me. (Elizabeth) (1961-1962)
Today’s Readings: Jesus summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the Gospel will save it. What profit is there for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? What could one give in exchange for his life? (Mark 8)
Prayer Meditation-O Lord, how we all want to hold onto the things of this world. To save our lives- to live out our best lives right here and right now because we think that what we have here on this Earth and all we are striving for is all that there is. We want it all and Heaven too! But that is not what You have asked of us- You have asked us not to save our lives, but to lose them for Your sake- not to gain the whole world but to save our souls and have the true and abundant life You want us to have in You (John 10). For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world (1 John 2:16). But if we repent, which really just means turn around, and keep our eyes on You and not the world, and really seek Your Voice we will hear You speaking this real life into our souls! Lord, Lent is coming- it is not about chocolate or caffeine or too much wine, though if we are slaves to any of this it would be wise to fast from it, but it really is about us holding on to the little pebble of our wills for dear life when what You really want to give us is Your Divine Life reigning in us! So let us examine ourselves- what would it take for us to say on Easter Sunday, it is no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me? (Galatians 2)? Let us ask You today in prayer to show us that little narrow path forward this Lent that You have for us as we take up our crosses and follow You, the God who loves us and has given everything for us!

Thursday of the Sixth Week of Ordinary Time
Who Do You Say That I Am
I am your way and your life. Everything passes away, only your work for souls remains (Jesus) (January 18, 1964)
Today’s Readings: And he asked them,
“But who do you say that I am?”
Peter said to him in reply,
“You are the Christ.”(Mark 8)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, You ask us right here right now the same question- Who Am I to you? And the question can stop us in our tracks because we realize so often that we don’t always give that question enough thought. Or we rattle off the right words but we know that our hearts and our lives do not always show that You are our Everything! Lord help us today to be still and sit with You as we let You ask us this question- let us keep our eyes on You and look full in Your Wonderful Face and meditate on what these words really mean- Prince of Peace, Good Shepherd, Light of the World, Lamb of God, Bread of Life, Savior, Redeemer, Messiah, King! Everything else is passing!

The Goodness of God
“How good of You to come! Truly, You do not despise me. Because I am a sinner, You double Your strength in me. What goodness, what limitless compassion You have for a repentant sinner.” (Elizabeth) (November 22, 1962)
Today’s Readings: How shall I make a return to the LORD
for all the good he has done for me?
The cup of salvation I will take up,
and I will call upon the name of the LORD.(Psalm 116)
Prayer Meditation- Lord how can we make a return to You who are all good and deserving of all of our love! You are our ever -present help in time of trouble and our refuge and strength! Lord let us take up the cup of salvation and call Your Holy Name in praise and thanksgiving today! Let us seek You in Your Word and in Your Sacraments. You told St. Teresa of Avila that she could thank You by attending one Mass- let us come to Daily Mass with a heart full of praise and thanksgiving! Lord we will sing of the goodness of God!

Memorial of Saints Cyril and Methodius
A Little Story About Our Daily Bread
On one occasion, when Elizabeth needed bread, Jesus did her a special favor. Jesus said, “Leave now. You must get bread for your family.”
When I entered the bakery, I remembered that it …was Saturday and I asked, “Do you still have bread?” They said, “No.” I was scared. What will happen now? When I was about to leave, I heard them call me. They had reserved a bread, but the one for whom they had set it aside did not come to get it. At once, I said, “My adorable Jesus.” He said, “I am that one. Do you see? The time you spend with Me should not harm your family.” (Elizabeth/Jesus) (February 14, 1965)
Today’s Readings: When he became aware of this he said to them,
“Why do you conclude that it is because you have no bread?
Do you not yet understand or comprehend?
Are your hearts hardened? (Mark 8)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord today I wanted to meditate on the little story of Elizabeth and how You made sure her need for bread was met- just like You did for the disciples. Just like You do for us every day! Yet like the disciples we forget even when You multiply our meager resources to feed the five thousand! Lord help us to remember and to not let our hearts harden in fear or anxiety- You have us in the palm of Your Hands and You provide for us if we are faithful! Lord help us remember our own little stories of Your Goodness to us!
