We Won’t Be Shaken

Jesus: “I can see to what extent you were shaken by the fact that

they did not believe your sincere words which, in truth, come from

Me. I have noticed with what level of fortitude you received this

first great suffering that was a kind of general rehearsal for the beginning

of suffering. This time of grace is destined for the whole

world, however, it is through you that we want to initiate this Holy

Cause, but it cannot start on feet of clay. It is only with a soul as

hard as steel that it can be ignited.” (Jesus) (March 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings: Though the mountains leave their place
        and the hills be shaken,
    My love shall never leave you
        nor my covenant of peace be shaken,
        says the LORD, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, in these days we can feel shaken- I would bet that most days we all feel pretty shaky because it seems that the world as we know it is passing. And indeed, it is because there is a time of Grace destined for the whole world. As You told us in the Gospel of Luke, I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! And yet in the shaking of this world, You promise that You will never leave us and that Your Covenant of Peace will not be shaken! Lord we praise You, we thank You, and we glorify You for Your Mercy which never ends!

Everyday Miracles In Our Valley Of Tears

Cannot I work a miracle? I will so bless this impossible problem that it will be straightened out. (Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings:

“Go and tell John what you have seen and heard:
the blind regain their sight,
the lame walk,
lepers are cleansed,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised, 
the poor have the good news proclaimed to them. 
And blessed is the one who takes no offense at me.” (Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, like even John the Baptist we can have doubts about Who You Are. Fear clouds the eyes of our heart when we are in the valley but the same Jesus who walked the Earth healing and doing good lives in us right here and right now! Can You work a miracle- let us answer with our yes and let us gaze on You with the eyes of faith even when we cannot see You or feel You are there, Because You will bless all of our impossible problems if instead of doubt we come to You in hope and trust because Your Will is always perfect and it is Love and Mercy itself!

Tuesday of the Third Week of Advent

Close To The Brokenhearted

Jesus: “Do not fear. I will not allow anyone to harm you. If he

were able, together with his henchmen, he would have crushed you

like dust. Be strong. The Holy Spirit will strengthen you.” (Jesus) (August 31,1962)

Today’s Readings: The LORD is close to the brokenhearted;
and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.
The LORD redeems the lives of his servants;
no one incurs guilt who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34)

Prayer Meditation: Lord it seems like every day is a battle. We try to persevere but the truth is  we try to do so much in our own power and we fall apart. And then we feel lost in our sins and our brokenness and we really can just feel so stuck! We can feel crushed  by life and its demands and we say we are fine but we know we are not. But Lord, You did not mean for us to save ourselves! In today’s first Reading You promise, On that day
You need not be ashamed 
of all your deeds,
your rebellious actions against me; (Zephaniah 3). And in the Gospel (Matthew 21) we hear that it is the sinners that will enter the Kingdom of Heaven before the so called righteous. The key is in the Psalm, to take refuge in You because You will not allow anyone or anything to harm us. So let us stop trying to rely on our own strength and ask for The Holy Spirit to strengthen us and may we stay fused in Your Divine Will confident that if we but ask You will forgive and heal everything inside of us that is not of You!

How Does This Happen That The Mother of My Lord Should Come To Us

“As you see, I am honoring you again. At your request, I come to bless your family and the whole neighborhood. I have brought My peace. Trust! Do not give way to discouragement! I unite your sufferings to my merits.(Jesus) (April 14, 1964)

Today’s Readings: “Most blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me? (Luke 1)

Prayer Meditation- How is it Lord, that Your Mother, Our Mother comes to us? She came with haste to help Elizabeth her cousin and she comes with haste when we call. She has been coming to Earth to help us in her various apparitions including Our Lady of Guadalupe. If we want to know Her Heart which is in union with Your Heart we only have to ponder the following comforting words to St. Juan Diego- Am I not here, I who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am 1 not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need something more? Let nothing else worry you or disturb you. Let us meditate today on the Heart of Our Mother and take Her into our hearts and our homes!

Third Sunday of Advent

Spiritual Freedom

“All of you have been called to My work of salvation, fathers and mothers, learned and ignorant, the well and the sick. All can work for Me, the free man and the one suffering in prison. What is important is the availability of the soul and the spiritual freedom which constitutes the culture of the soul.” (Jesus) (May 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to them in reply,

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, You are the God of restoration and of healing, of spiritual freedom! You have come to heal and set captives free! Thank You Lord Jesus for proclaiming the good news to poor souls like us! Lord may we walk in freedom, not so that we can walk in our own ways but to walk with You and join You in the work of salvation no matter what our circumstance in life. True freedom begins with the availability of our souls- may Thy Will be done in us! Loosen the chains that bind so that we would be free of anything standing in the way of spiritual freedom in You!

Days of Elijah-Like A Fire

Jesus: “Are you confident you can fulfill the destiny for which

we have chosen you? I am asking you again: Do you accept the

many humiliations and sufferings that accompany the task of asserting

our Holy Cause? Do you know that the sufferings you have

received so far only served to prepare you to achieve the goal that

we set for you? You are an instrument in our hands. Do you want to

continue being an instrument? Do you want to climb with Me the

Mount of Calvary, the Golgotha? If so, your place is beside the

Mother of Sorrows. The Flame of Love of her heart that she wishes

to enkindle on earth through you demands a total commitment on

your part. Do not answer right now, meditate and prepare yourself

to the answer concerning the great Cause.” (Jesus) (March 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings: In those days,
    like a fire there appeared the prophet Elijah
        whose words were as a flaming furnace.
    Their staff of bread he shattered,
        in his zeal he reduced them to straits;
    By the Lord’s word he shut up the heavens
        and three times brought down fire.
    How awesome are you, Elijah, in your wondrous deeds!
        Whose glory is equal to yours?
    You were taken aloft in a whirlwind of fire,
        in a chariot with fiery horses.
    You were destined, it is written, in time to come
        to put an end to wrath before the day of the LORD,
    To turn back the hearts of fathers toward their sons,
        and to re-establish the tribes of Jacob.
    Blessed is he who shall have seen you 
        and who falls asleep in your friendship. (Sirach 48)

Prayer Mediation- O Lord we thank You, and bless You, and glorify You for these readings about Elijah. The first Elijah who came like fire for the conversion of Israel and John the Baptist in the Gospel, the Elijah who was to come (Malachi 4:5-6) to turn the hearts of fathers towards their sons. The precursor of the Messiah! And here we are today, preparing ourselves this Advent for You to reign in all the Earth, for Your Kingdom to come! Our place is besides the Mother of Sorrows, who also has her role to enkindle the on Earth Her Flame of Love. And you are asking for total commitment on our part in these days and these times so that we would be instruments to in this great Cause! Fiat Lord! Maranatha!

Friday of the Second Week of Advent

He is Teaching- Are You Listening

From time to time, He would say a few words. He knows very well that I listen to each of his words as a prayer. I constantly reflect on His teaching. Today, it happened the same way. (Elizabeth) (March 4, 1966)

Today’s Readings: I, the LORD, your God,
teach you what is for your good,
and lead you on the way you should go. (Isaiah 48)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we learn in Isaiah today in the First Reading that You are always teaching. You are always teaching us what is for our good and to lead us on the way we should go. You do this in Your Word, and through Your Church and in Your Holy Inspirations. But Lord, are we listening? Because in the Gospel we see that You taught through John the Baptist and You taught by Your Incarnation and living among us with Your sermons and Your miracles and all the people could do was to find a reason to complain and a reason not to believe. Lord, why do we do that? Why do we pay no heed to Your words to us and then complain that we are all alone and that You have abandoned us. Today, let us not do this! In whatever circumstance we may find ourselves, whatever suffering whether it was allowed by You or brought on ourselves by our own brokenness let us get quiet today so that we can hear Your Voice in our hearts. You are teaching-help us to listen!

Holy And Without Blemish

“I want you not just to know

my name, but to know also the Flame of Love of my maternal heart beating for you. I entrusted

you with the task of making known this burning love. That is why you must be very humble.

Such a grace as this has only been granted to only very few. Hold such great grace in high

esteem.(Mary) (September 29, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who has blessed us in Christ

with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,

as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world,

Prayer Meditation- On this beautiful day celebrating Our Beautiful Mother we rejoice in the Immaculate Conception and also Her Immaculate Heart joined to Yours that loves us so much with burning charity! She wants us all to be saved and to one day be like Her, Holy and Blameless! Lord may we be the humble little ones who cling to Our Mother who always brings us ever closer to You! Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us!

Stumbling Into Holiness

You did not make yourself

worthy. I, God, thought you worthy of your call. Even one instant

is too much for you to be occupied with something else. My love does not rest. May our thoughts be as one!” (Jesus) (August 30, 1964)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to the crowds: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Matthew 11)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, like the first reading today in Isaiah 40 we do run and grow weary, we walk, and not only do we faint, we stumble and fall. We work in our own power to somehow be good enough, to measure up, even for those of us on a spiritual path to make ourselves holy. We are literally tripping on our own feet! You see all of this and You say to us today enough! You call to us to come to You, all who are labored, burdened, just plain worn out and sick and tired of being sick and tired and You ask us to turn in that worn out yoke for a brand new one of Your making. Because we do not make ourselves good or holy- only You do when we surrender ourselves to Your Divine Will, the sacrament of the Present Moment which includes our duties to You and to our state in life and loving acceptance of all that comes to us through Your Hands for our good! Thank You Jesus for stepping into this holiday madness with Your Word in the Gospel today- let us have ears to hear!

Tuesday of the Second Week of Advent

Lost Sheep

‘My little one, I want that not one soul be damned. You should want

this together with me. For this purpose, I place in your hands a beam of light that is the Flame

of Love of my heart.’ (Mary) (January 15, 1964)

Today’s Readings: What is your opinion?

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,

will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills

and go in search of the stray?

And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it

than over the ninety-nine that did not stray.

In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father

that one of these little ones be lost.” (Matthew 18)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You love us so much that You will go after each one of us as if we were the only one You came to save! You pursue us with a burning Love that never gives up on us- You are for us and not against us! We are Your little ones, each one of us! Lord give us Your burning thirst for souls that we would also seek the lost. We do not have to go far- they are often right there in our families and our communities. No need to go on some overseas mission trip! Lord help us through the Immaculate Heart of Mary to pray and sacrifice for the conversion of sinners and for love of You!
