I am a wife, mother, and nurse crazy in love with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in His One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church! As a mother in these dark times, I have become drawn to the fully Church approved Flame of Love Diary of Elizabeth Kindleman as the devotion for our times. I believe the Lord is calling me to be a lifeboat for my family! This devotion is all about giving Our Lord love for love so that Our Lady through Her Immaculate Heart can spread the Flame of Love which is Jesus Christ Himself as the greatest grace since the Word Became Flesh! Come Holy Spirit Come by the Means of the Power of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

On Christ The Solid Rock I Stand All Other Ground is Sinking Sand
“You see, as you water the flowers daily, in a similar way, hearts should daily be filled with My Divine Love that will keep their soul fresh and would make it capable of making sacrifices.” (Jesus) (July 21, 1964)
Today’s Readings: “Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. (Matthew 7)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, how many days do we feel like we are sinking under the weight of our problems, worries, and fears. So many times our foundation feels like shaky ground apart from You! Lord You want us to live our lives on The Rock- the Rock of Your Divine Love! Let us get still today so we can listen to Your Word and our hearts will be filled- let us act on Your Word today in our lives! O Christ the Solid Rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand!

Bearing Abundant Fruit
Jesus: “Remain silent, My little Carmelite. Do not be surprised if I say this often. Do you know who is truly wise? The one who says very little. True wisdom matures in the soil of silence, and only in silence can it take root. I am your Master and I instruct you. I prepared Myself for three years of activity by thirty years of silence. Being your Master, and united with Me, you will also find wisdom. Speak only when I give you the signal, expressing yourself only in the way you have learned from Me, or in the manner I would say it Myself. In a word, imitate Me. You will see that just a few words can produce good abundant fruits in souls (Jesus) (August 16, 1962)
Today’s Readings:
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them.” (August 16, 1962)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, thank You for teaching us how to bear the abundant fruit of the Spirit. It is only in remaining in You that we can bear the good fruit- joy, peace, love, self- control. Lord, let us not fall away from Your Tree of Life by opening our mouths too much- let our words be Your Words and not ours which so often get us into trouble! Help us to stay united to You so that we would find wisdom because the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without inconstancy and insincerity. (James 3:17). Let our few words united to You produce abundant fruit in souls.

Solemnity of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist
Light to the Nations
“After your death, my little one, your place will be next to me. Your drops of oil gathered on earth – which by your lifetime of sacrifices, my Divine Son united with His merits – will fall back upon the extinguished lamps of the souls and will ignite them by my Flame of Love. By this light, they will find the way that leads to salvation.” (Mary) (May 30, 1965)
Today’s Readings: It is too little, he says, for you to be my servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and restore the survivors of Israel; I will make you a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.(Isaiah 49)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord we thank You today for the nativity of John the Baptist, the messenger who bore witness to the Word Made Flesh full of grace and truth! (John 1) Today You call us to be messengers to the way that leads to salvation- Lord help us to unite our sacrifices to Your merits so that souls will be ignited with Your Flame of Love even after we have left this earth!

Monday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time
Blessed Are The People The Lord Has Chosen to Be His Own
Jesus: “Do not worry, My dear little Carmelite. Do not think, ‘How will I make the Cause prevail?’ I work with chosen souls. Be satisfied with being good. Do you know how to be a good Carmelite? Live humbly. Live the hidden contemplative life in union with Me. Refrain your tongue and be on guard not to say unneeded words. (Jesus) (April 10, 1962)
Today’s Readings: “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. All the communities of the earth shall find blessing in you.” (Genesis 12)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, we thank You and praise You and glorify You for your promises to Abraham to make of him a great nation, a people You have chosen to be Your own! It looked impossible to Abraham at the time that the promise would be fulfilled and it looked impossible to Elizabeth that Our Lady’s Cause would prevail through her who, like us was just a weak instrument. But You assure us that You have chosen us right here, right now to advance Your Kingdom, not because we are so great but because You are great and with You all things are possible! So, help us to live humbly and to walk with You living a hidden life in union with You because we are the poor instruments that You are using during these times to give You Glory and to save souls.

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood Of Christ
Healing Mass
The sweet Savior filled my soul with such an attraction for His sacred Body and Precious Blood that for weeks I could only meditate on the Eucharist. It was His desire that He and I penetrate deeply into these inexhaustibly profound words: “He who eats My Body and drinks My Blood remains in Me and I in Him.” (Elizabeth) (July 20, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Jesus spoke to the crowds about the kingdom of God, and he healed those who needed to be cured. (Luke 9)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we meditate in a special way on the Eucharist. As we read the Gospel of Luke today, the beginning stands out to me because I see the Mass hidden in it. First we learn in the Liturgy of the Word about Your Kingdom. Then in the Liturgy of the Eucharist You come to us to heal us- yes the Eucharist is truly a healing sacrament. Lord You know we need healing today! You come to heal everything inside of us and to forgive us and change us into Yourself! Every Mass is a healing Mass! O Lord, let us come to You well disposed to receive the Bread of Life, Your Flesh given for the life of the world- we are so unworthy but only say the Word and our souls will be healed

Do Not Worry- His Grace is Sufficient
Jesus: “You please Me a great deal at this moment. You ask why? Continue to do you your best. What did your guardian angel tell you? Increase the adoration and homage to the Holy Majesty of God. You see how by your resolve to examine your conscience every hour, your soul is refined to become more apt to immerse itself in God and worship Him. Your homage also is greatly gaining in standing with the Holy Majesty of God. This proposition on your part requires a very great peaceful contemplation. But to the one who loves, nothing is impossible. I have provided you with sufficient examples of that. Your bad temper will go on, but out of this evil nature, I will accomplish a masterpiece if you agree to submit to My Divine Hand. (September 24, 1963)
Today’s Readings: Therefore, that I might not become too elated, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, an angel of Satan, to beat me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it might leave me, but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. (2 Corinthians 12)
But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.” (Matthew 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, the closer we get to You and the more we see ourselves, we can really feel the weight of who we are. St. Paul talks about a thorn in the flesh, Elizabeth has a bad temper and we all have something that is an obstacle to being the best version of ourselves. But the wonderful thing is, You know all about that- and You will accomplish a masterpiece in all of us if we submit to Your Divine Hand and let You do it because without You, we are nothing! (John 15). You tell us in the First Reading today that Your Grace is sufficient. You tell us in the Gospel that we are to seek first the Kingdom and not to worry about tomorrow. So let us keep trying to do our best and examine ourselves not in a scrupulous manner but with peaceful contemplation because to the one who loves nothing is impossible and nothing at all is impossible for God! Let us be glad in our weakness and submit our nothingness to the All whose power dwells in us!

Where is Your Heart?
Through you, my little Carmelite, I want all to know the anguish that springs up from the boundless love of my maternal heart because of the danger threatening the entire world by the disintegration of the family sanctuaries. I direct my maternal cry to all of you, and in union with you, I want to save the world. (Mary) (January 17, 1964)
Today’s Readings: Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. (Matthew 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, how easy it is to have our hearts set on the world and what it has to offer. We try to save maybe for a nice retirement or we have goals for our careers and our families. But Lord, all around us families are disintegrating- even if we are ok it hard not to see what is happening in our culture. Our Lady in these times calls us to join Her in setting our hearts on the salvation of souls and particularly the restoration of family life. Lord, open our eyes so we can see where our hearts are leading us- are they leading us and our loved ones to Heaven or are we living for those things that can be here today and gone tomorrow. Lord You are our treasure- help us to live for You and for Your Kingdom in our families and in our hearts!

Our Father
“May our lips beg our heavenly Father, together, to obtain mercy.” (Jesus) (May 4, 1962)
Today’s Readings: “This is how you are to pray:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’ (Matthew 6)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, as we pray the Our Father, a prayer we pray sometimes many times a day, let us pray it with true intention and devotion. Because You are Our Father- Our Father means You have given Yourself to us, You have given us everything. Let us worship You today and let Your Will be done in our lives- help us to surrender to Your Holy Will which is love and mercy itself! Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is Heaven!

A Cheerful Giver
“They are bored. They live in wasteful laziness, seeking only their own comfort. They exclude Me from their lives, taking every opportunity to hide like cowards and to deceive themselves. They act as if they were not My workers. O unhappy ones, how can you give an account of your wasted time?” (Jesus) (October 4, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters, consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9)
Prayer Meditation- Lord how stingy we can be, even those who feel called to work in Your Vineyard. We can get stuck in our comfort zones and find that much like the Church in Ephesus we have lost our first love (Revelations 2). We forget we are called to evangelize others through our witness of joy, peace and love. As St. Teresa of Avila exclaimed God save us from dour faced saints! Let us sow bountifully today with cheerfulness and not with sadness or compulsion. You love a cheerful giver!

His Kind of Perfect
If we refer to the Flame of Love, the Lord Jesus will enlighten our intellect to know what we must do, for example, how we can choose between two things and which is the most perfect and represents the Will of God.” (Elizabeth) (July 11, 1975)
Today’s Readings: For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, we all try so hard to be perfect, but it is perfect the way the world defines it. Along the way it can seem that our love can grow so cold. We make idols out of so many things in our lives and along the way we lose the ability to see others the way You see them. Lord, I believe You are telling us that You want Your kind of perfect- the one that loves without counting the cost. The one that drives out all fear (1 John 4:18). The one that lives the Gospel message we have been reading from the Sermon on the Mount. Lord, it is only Your Grace that makes us that kind of perfect- Lord rain down Your Flame of Love through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that we would know and love Your Perfect Will!
