Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Feast of Saint Matthew, Apostle

You Came For Me!

“You know how pleased I am when you prostrate before Me and say that you are sorry for your sins as no sinner has ever been sorry and that you want to love Me more than all converted sinners.” (Jesus) (April 8, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” He heard this and said, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. Go and learn the meaning of the words, I desire mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” (Matthew 9)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You remind us so vividly that You came not for the righteous but for sinners- to set us free and heal us and free us so that we can live the abundant life You have meant for us to live. (John 10). This is really good news because that means You came for me and for all of us because we are all sinners and all broken and only You can fix us. Lord help us to know that Your Gaze is always upon us- You see us just as we are and You look at us with such love and ask us to follow You. Lord help us not to miss Your invitation today and every day!

Journey Into The Divine Will- Divine Will Calendar Sip By Sip — September 19, 2023

Journey Into The Divine Will- Divine Will Calendar Sip By Sip

Everything that happens around and inside the soul is nothing other than the continuous crafting of Jesus so that His Will may be fulfilled and carried out in her.

We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. (Romans 8:28-30)

Volume 11- September 20, 1913 And Jesus, immediately: “My daughter, everything that happens around and inside the soul – bitternesses, pleasures, contrasts, deaths, privations, contentments, and other things – is nothing other than my continuous crafting so that my Will may be fulfilled and carried out in her. When I obtain this, all is done, and therefore everything gives the soul peace. It seems that even suffering wants to stay away from her, in seeing that the Divine Volition is greater than it is, and that It holds in her the place of everything, surpassing everything. It seems that all pay reverence to her; and I Myself, when the soul reaches this point – of using everything in order to let Me accomplish the crafting of my Will – once this is done, I prepare her for Heaven

Round of The Soul- O Lord we love You, we bless You and we adore You because in all circumstances You work all things together for good for the crafting of our souls and to prepare us for Heaven! Fiat Jesus we love You in all that You dispose for us!

Of Flutes and Dirges

Mary: “The greater the miracles, my little one, the fewer those who believed in me. I asked for the First Saturdays and they never heeded my request. I am your gentle and understanding Mother. United with you, I will save you. (Mary) (April 13, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Jesus said to the crowds:
“To what shall I compare the people of this generation?
What are they like?
They are like children who sit in the marketplace and call to one another,

‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance.
We sang a dirge, but you did not weep.’ (Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we love You we bless You and we adore You because You have shown us so many miracles during Your Public Life and through Your Church. The Sacraments themselves are Your Miracles as are our very lives! And yet we are so indifferent, we do so little in response or even worse, we respond with a complaining and a critical spirit. Like the generation who crossed the Red Sea and then complained for forty years in the desert. O Lord we are so blind and ignorant stuck in our own little minds. Lord help us to see the evidence of Your love all around! Lord may we unite with Your Holy Mother as She shows us how to respond with love to the Love that never lets us go!

God Has Visited His People

“It is to the warm solidarity of the family sanctuary that souls come back to, after having strayed far. It is there that they come to find themselves and they once more return to God.. Do not think that once a child has become an adult, he no longer needs his parents. (Jesus) (January 17, 1964)

Today’s Readings: A large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” (Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today in this beautiful Gospel, and in Your words to Elizabeth Kindelmann and to us, You remind us mothers that we have a huge responsibility to bring our families to You. We can think so many of our circumstances are too far gone- that our prayers are bouncing off the chapel walls and our little prayer corners at home where we indeed weep. Yet Lord, nothing is impossible for You and Your plan for us and our children is so much bigger than we can ask of think. You have a plan for them which is a future full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11)  O  Lord, visit Your people, visit our families and heal them and call our children back to Your Loving Care! Through the intercession of Saint Monica and Our Blessed Mother we bring You our families!

Say The Word

“But I am not worthy, Lord.” “Nevertheless, I will work a miracle. I will so bless the problem which seems impossible that all will be straightened out.” (Elizabeth/Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not consider myself worthy to come to you; but say the word and let my servant be healed.(Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we are all unworthy, all have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sometimes this can discourage us- we say Lord don’t trouble yourself with us. Yet Lord despite our unworthiness and brokenness, You do indeed want to enter our roofs- our hearts and our souls and You so want to bless us and work miracles in our lives. Lord give us the faith of the centurion as we receive You at Holy Mass- Jesus, we trust in You!

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Has Our Love Grown Cold?

“If your love decreases, turn to our heavenly Mother and she will fill your heart with abundant love for Me. Draw close to My Mother, she will help you.” (Jesus) (March 4-March 7, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Wrath and anger are hateful things, yet the sinner hugs them tight. The vengeful will suffer the LORD’s vengeance, for he remembers their sins in detail. (Sirach 27)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we so often struggle with anger and unforgiveness. We hold on tight to our resentments, how easily we can become offended in these days and times that we live in. We cannot see You in other people- we only see ourselves. Yet Lord if we live by the sword, we will die by the sword (Matthew 26:52). Forgiveness is not easy but to imitate You, it must be without limit- 7 x 70 times! (Matthew 18). We must forgive each other from our hearts because You have already paid a debt for us that we cannot possibly pay! So Lord let us not be stingy with our love and mercy for another- if our love grows cold let us draw close to Our Heavenly Mother who will always intercede for us so that the wine of grace will keep flowing in our hearts (John 2).

Mercifully Treated

Jesus: “A long time ago, you received from My merciful Heart the full possession of the love which forgives. I accept this profound repentance with which you prostrated yourself before Me for the sake of others, and I grant them My pardon.” (August 18, 1965)

Today’s Readings: Beloved:
This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
Of these I am the foremost.
But for that reason I was mercifully treated,
so that in me, as the foremost,
Christ Jesus might display all his patience as an example
for those who would come to believe in him for everlasting life.
To the king of ages, incorruptible, invisible, the only God,
honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1)

Prayer Meditation- Lord ,we thank You and praise You and adore You because we have been mercifully treated and Your patience with us is beyond anything we can ever think of or imagine. Your merciful love is infinite no matter who we are and what we have done. You will accept from us our repentance with a merciful heart that forgives and that You extend to others as we intercede for them. Lord help to not just hear Your Words but also to act on them (Luke 6) and always remember the ABC’s of mercy- ask for mercy, be merciful, and completely trust in Your Mercy (Divine Mercy In My Soul) not only for ourselves but for the whole world!

Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows

Taking Mary into Our Homes

My Mother accompanied Me everywhere with her love, her sacrifices and her prayers. You must do the same, and I will bless your efforts. (Jesus) (January 17, 1964)

Today’s Readings: When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. (John 19)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, Your Holy Mother and ours followed You everywhere with love, sacrifices, and prayers. She is the model disciple and Our Most Loving Mother! Lord, You have given us Your Mother who stood by the Cross and who shared in the participation of Your Sacrifice on the Cross. She also shared in Your Resurrection- weeping turned into joy! Because as long as the deep dark night can seem, joy always comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5). Lord, thank You for Your Beautiful Mother and ours- there is nothing that we will ever go through that She would not understand- there is no circumstance in life that She will not stand by us and pray fervently for us to You. Even today, Mary calls us through Her various apparitions around the world- crying because She will not rest until all of Her Children are home! Lord, open our hearts that we would take into our homes Our Mother- let us stand with Her at the Cross and keep her company as She brings us ever closer to You! Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for us- take us deep into Your Heart and unite us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

Feast of the Exaltation of The Holy Cross

For God So Loved The World

Did I not shed all the drops of My Blood for all of you? My Will is to save everyone. (Jesus) (August 13, 1965)

Today’s Readings:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3)

Prayer Meditation: O Lord You so loved the world that You gave Your only Begotten Son so that we can have everlasting life! You did not come to condemn us but to save us! How can we not take up our crosses and follow You- only You have the Words of Eternal Life!

Put Them All Away

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Memorial of Saint John Chrysostom

Put Them All Away

Mary: “The resistance against my words comes from your human doubts. By these doubts, you limit your soul’s capacity to act. This causes you spiritual harm. If you do not put them away, they will destroy your abandonment to us.” (Mary) (January 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings: But now you must put them all away:
anger, fury, malice, slander,
and obscene language out of your mouths.
Stop lying to one another,
since you have taken off the old self with its practices
and have put on the new self,
which is being renewed, for knowledge,
in the image of its creator. (Colossians 3)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, the theme today is putting away- we are full of doubts, anxieties, yes even sins of thought, word, and deed. We resist Your Grace- the only thing that can change us. And by putting up these little fights in our human will we are only hurting ourselves and limiting what You can do in us and through us. Yes, we must put them all away- anger, gossip,  any deliberate venial sins and attachments that keep us from taking off the old self and putting on the new self which is You fully alive in us!  Lord purify our intentions and our hearts as we  abandons ourselves to You!
