““All women are a little of My mother.” During the procession of the Blessed Sacrament I wasn’t thinking of praying in the name of His merits. “And where do I come in?” In the church of the Rosary. “You will take on another face. I’ll give it to you marked with humility.” At home. “Try to make everything tidy around you. This is a reflection of holiness. Strive for it.””
— He and I by Gabrielle Bossis
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:30)
2 with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, (Ephesians 4:2)
40 but all things should be done decently and in order. (1 Corinthians 14:40)
Prayer Reflection- On this beautiful day of Mother Mary’s birthday how wonderful it is Lord to reflect on how You intended all women to be like Your Mother! Let us put on humility like our Blessed Mother! Let us always strive for order in our lives as a reflection of Your Holiness living in us! Mary, Queen of Peace pray for us!

Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Hail Holy Queen!
“You must be selfless, for we will entrust you with a great mission and you will be up to the task. However, this is only possible if you remain totally selfless, abjuring yourself. That mission can be bestowed upon you only if you also want it out of your free will. (Jesus) (1962)
Today’s Readings:
Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means “God is with us.” (Matthew 1)
Prayer Meditation- Lord God we thank You for Our Blessed Mother- the Woman clothed with the Sun- Blessed is She who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to Her (Luke 1 NLT)! Thank You for Our Beautiful Mother who gave Her Fiat so that we would be free! Lord, thank You for giving Her to us as our Mother and Model of a life totally surrendered to Your Grace! She is our Star of the Sea and She will always point the way home to You! Hail Holy Queen our life, our sweetness and our hope! Pray for us O Holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ!
“September 7—I was humbling myself before Him for my many distractions. “Offer them to Me all the same. They’re something of yourself. Give so that I may restore. Keep yourself often before Me, My very little one.””
— He and I by Gabrielle Bossis
9 but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians:9)
17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says the Lord, (Jeremiah 30:17)
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well. (Matthew 6:33)
Prayer Reflection- O Lord we love You and adore You because You take our weaknesses because Your Grace is sufficient to perfect us in those weaknesses. Help us to surrender to You so that You can restore us and heal what is broken. May we always seek You first in Your Word, in the Sacraments, in Adoration, and Prayer offering You are nothingness that You would be our All!

Twenty Third Sunday of Ordinary Time
Calculating The Cost
Jesus: “Take part unceasingly in My work of Redemption. Do not ask how. Fervently desire the coming of My Kingdom for yourself and for all the souls. When you rest at night, examine your day. What have you done for My Kingdom to arrive?” (Jesus) (April 20, 1962)
Today’s Gospel: Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion? Otherwise, after laying the foundation and finding himself unable to finish the work the onlookers should laugh at him and say, ‘This one began to build but did not have the resources to finish.’ (Luke 14)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, how many of us start well! A conference, a retreat, a great homily, or an invite to a prayer cenacle on Zoom and here we go! We are all in and ready to give all for Your Kingdom in these times. These sad times where we are so sure that everything we do-every Rosary, every Novena, every 33 Day Consecration matters and is bringing the Kingdom closer! We are really cooking with gas now! And then life hits you out of nowhere. Sickness, family divides, money worries, work woes, our own dark nights that seem to never end. And we are not feeling it and we wonder if we ever did have it in us to be co-workers with Jesus and Mary in these times we are in. Maybe You have moved on looking for someone else who will use Your Grace well and with more zeal and constancy. But maybe that is the problem Lord, because if we feel like failures, we are really just thinking about ourselves and not about You! Because these desolations- privations as they call them in the spiritual life, are all part of Your Plan! Counting the cost, we should know that we do not have what it takes on our own. But we do if we realize that we are nothing and You are all and it is Your Work that You will complete in us with our Fiat no matter the cost and no matter what it may feel like.
““ September 6-Take and read. Take from My heart and read love. Do you know how to read love? With the eyes of ardent desire and the most loving simplicity enlightened by the remembrance of what I said through the prophets, the gospels, and My intimate friends. “Read love and read the call, for love always calls. A call is like arms outstretched to enfold. Wouldn’t you give Me the joy of letting yourself be enfolded? And what do I want if not you in all your wholeness—your entire being. You understand? “Then you mustn’t refuse Me. No, not anything. Try to be the one I desire, the one who keeps Me company in her heart joyously and leaves Me only to find Me again in her daily duties. “I am everywhere for the one who seeks Me. He lives with My life all the time he is living for Me. I possess him so that he may possess Me. How could he get along all alone? Haven’t you recognized My help at certain moments? Isn’t your way through life more joyous and safe when God possesses you? “O come close, come purely to the all-Pure.” “Lord, I never cease to long for You, and yet I never cease to be indifferent.” “And it will always be like that, My poor little girl. The weakness of your nature causes you to fall, and it’s the humble effort you make to get up and go on, the effort to please Me that charms your beloved. And this is a joy, a joy for God. Isn’t that strange? Later on you will see. Later on you will understand. “Believe in that ‘later on.’ ” “How can I believe, Lord?” “With your heart. For if I am often a joy for you, be sure that you are very much of a joy for Me. Think of this; it will help you to drop anchor in My boundless compassion, and it will give you more assurance of the goodness of your God—His perfect goodness, which never ceases to flow to you.” “Lord, make me like this for my neighbor.” “I’ll be your Self-Expression.””
— He and I by Gabrielle Bossis
8 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
3 And one called to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6:3)
14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. (Psalm 103:14)
Prayer Reflection- O Lord You are so close to us and You want to us to come even closer. But we can feel so unworthy yet our humble efforts please You even when we fall. May we keep our hearts set on You and that “later on” that is life with You in Eternity. May we believe with our whole hearts in the goodness of Our God!

Grounded in the Gospel
“Whoever serve Me, My little one, cannot be a reed bending in the wind. She must persevere firmly at My side with an unshakable determination. Your soul cannot bow to anything that does not serve Me. Again, My little one, I ask that you persevere with Me.” (Jesus) (February 4, 1963)
Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:
You once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds; God has now reconciled you in the fleshly Body of Christ through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him, provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard, (Colossians 1)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we were once far from You but You have reconciled us to You through Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ to present us holy and blameless to You provided we persevere! O Lord, we are so weak, how easily we go from firmly grounded and stable to a reed bending in the wind! We can be so double minded, unstable in all of our ways (James 1:8). Little by little we start bowing to things that are not of You! But Lord, You have promised us that You are the Vine, we the branches! (John 15:5). Lord, please help us to remain in You and persevere firmly at Your side with unshakable determination- let us never lose hope in the Gospel!
“September 5—“ If distractions come through no fault of yours, I give you the same grace as if you had been quite attentive.”” — He and I by Gabrielle Bossis
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)
25 Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. 26 Take heed to the path of your feet, then all your ways will be sure. 27 Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil. (Proverbs 4:25-27)
41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42 one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:41-42)
Prayer Reflection- O Lord we can become so easily distracted. Sometimes it is our own fault- our own worry, anxiety, and fear but a lot of times it is through no fault of our own. Lord how well You know us! How reassuring it is that You give us the same grace in prayer in distractions as if we were attentive! May we always think about whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious and excellent!

Pour Out Your New Wine Lord Into Our Souls
“My adorable Jesus, what are You doing with such an unworthy person?” With an inspiration as soft as a sigh, He poured out in my heart the feeling that, at that moment, in a direct soaring, He was drawing my soul to the infinite love of His Divine Being. (Elizabeth) (February 13, 1963)
Today’s Readings:
Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined. Rather, new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins. And no one who has been drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’”
Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You tell us that new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins. The wineskins of our souls become fresh by repentance and when we have humble and contrite hearts! Lord help us desire this new wine to be poured into our souls as unworthy as we are! Help us not to keep desiring the same old same old which is getting us nowhere as we keep wandering in the desert of our human wills but to truly desire the ”new thing” (Isaiah 43:19) You want to spring forth, the wine of The Spirit. Lord make a way in the wilderness of our souls to the Living Water only You can give!

At Your Command
“It is of little importance to Me what you can do on a certain day or how much you can accomplish, only do not take a break, because that would cause Me great sorrow.” (Jesus) (February 20, 1964))
Today’s Readings: “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets.” (Luke 5)
Prayer Meditation- Lord some days it can feel like we have been working all day and all night and have absolutely nothing to show for it. No matter our vocation or state in life- the wear and tear of day to day living and our efforts to stay afloat and just tread water can make us feel like all we want to do is take a break and rest. But Lord, You ask us to keep going, to put out into the deep and lower our nets- to keep trying even when we want to give up! And it is amazing because it is just at those times when we obey that You multiply the little we have left. Lord may those nets overflow with Your abundance so that, like Peter, we can fulfill the mission You have for us! May our humble prayer be Your Command, Fiat!
