Confessing Our Faults

“Many, many times, I experienced the repentance that the Lord’s mercy brought forth in my soul. I want to repent for my sins like no one ever has repented until now.” She would pray, “I want to love You like no converted sinner has ever loved You until now.” (Elizabeth) (Compendium Page 62)

Today’s Readings: Then I acknowledged my sin to you, my guilt I covered not. I said, “I confess my faults to the LORD,” and you took away the guilt of my sin. (Psalm 32)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord You have washed us in Your Blood and You offer Yourself to us every day in Your Word and Your Sacraments. The Lord Our Justice

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

First Sunday of Advent

The Lord Our Justice

“Repent! Repent! Repent! This is what I am asking you. The voice of repentance reaches up to the throne of My heavenly Father. It is the voice holding back the arm of justice of My Father.” (Jesus) (November 8, 1964)

Today’s Readings: In those days Judah shall be safe and Jerusalem shall dwell secure; this is what they shall call her: “The LORD our justice.” (Jeremiah 33)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, in the beginning of Advent we hear in The Readings about Your Justice. As St. Therese has said, “My sister, if you look for the justice of God you will get it. The soul will receive from God exactly what she desires.”. Because, Lord You are Our Father, You desire from us humble repentant hearts turned towards You! Hearts like those Lord, will be safe and secure forever in Your Loving Arms! As we prepare to make room for You Lord- let us examine ourselves, especially emptying ourselves of what is in the way of receiving You with joy, peace, and hope this Christmas! In this way we will be found waiting and prepared to run to You Lord, whenever You may call us!
