Adoration and Reparation

ADORATION AND REPARATION

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Wednesday of Holy Week

Adoration And Reparation

Adore Me and make reparation on behalf of others also. Seek many graces for them. (Jesus) (January 6, 1963)

Today’s Readings:

Insult has broken my heart, and I am weak,
    I looked for sympathy, but there was none;
for consolers, not one could I find.
Rather they put gall in my food,
and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. I will praise the name of God in song, and I will glorify him with thanksgiving: “See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, may your hearts revive! (Psalm 69)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord even in the darkest hour let us seek Your Face and praise You in all things. Today we read in the Gospel how You were betrayed by one of the twelve- by a disciple and friend. And while we can relate to that on a human level what was worse was the loss of Judas because of his despair. We cannot even imagine how You grieve over the loss of souls. Let us seek Your restoration of our own hearts and for others and let us console Your Heart in union with The Immaculate Heart of Mary as we enter the Triduum.

You Can’t Run From Trouble

YOU CAN’T RUN FROM TROUBLE

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Tuesday of Holy Week

You Can’t Run from Trouble

They avoid what is difficult, as years go on, their soul becomes grey and covered with dust. (Jesus) (December 22, 1963)

Today’s Readings:

Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.” (John 13)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, Peter could talk the talk but couldn’t walk the walk- how many times is that us even in our daily lives. When it gets hard, when the road narrows and gets rocky, we just want to hide and make it all go away. Lord help us not to deny You but follow You even when the path ahead is impossible to see and when we fall. Let us, like Peter ,also humbly realize our brokenness and accept Your forgiveness.

Monday of Holy Week

Be Strong and Courageous

Suffer with courage, perseverance, and sincere abandonment. Don’t ponder if the suffering is large or small. All that you can still do for Me on Earth is meritorious. (Jesus) (July 24, 1963)

Today’s Readings:

I believe that I shall see the bounty of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD with courage; be stouthearted, and wait for the LORD. (Psalm 27)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, help us to suffer with courage and abandonment to Your Holy Will. Lord we believe that You are working all things for good. we wait for You with courage! Lord all we can do for You is meritorious. So, let us like Mary in today’s Gospel (John 12)  anoint You with the sweet perfume of our offering of ourselves in complete trust and abandonment as we enter Holy Week.

At The Name Of Jesus — March 23, 2024

At The Name Of Jesus

AT THE NAME OF JESUS

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Palm Sunday of The Lord’s Passion

At The Name Of Jesus

Jesus: “Come, My little one, bow your head towards Me and let us talk about something that is difficult for you. Will the sufferings you do for Me be many?” (Jesus) (October 15, 1962).

Today’s Readings: Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name
    which is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus
    every knee should bend,
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
    and every tongue confess that
    Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.(Philippians 20

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we enter Palm Sunday today and Holy Week we know that the crowd called out Your Holy Name only to turn around and yell “Crucify Him” in less than one week. It is easy to say Your Name when things are going well or when we are in a friendly crowd but what happens when the crowd turns against You in our families, in our work places, in our culture? O Lord, You know it is difficult for us but You also tell us to pick up our crosses and follow You, ready to suffer our tiny piece of the Cross You have made ready for us. O Lord, You will be high and lifted up on that Cross this week and You will lay down Your Life and empty Yourself for our redemption and for the glory of God the Father! Lord one day every knee will bend and every tongue confess that You are Lord but let us gladly choose You now and worship You, loving You for all that do not love, do not hope, and do not adore You! Blessed Mother, may we keep You company this week like St. John and the faithful women always with our eyes and our hearts turned to the sorrows of Your Son Jesus!

As A Shepherd Guards His Flock

AS A SHEPHERD GUARDS HIS FLOCK- RANSOM FROM HEAVEN

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent

As A Shepherd Guards His Flock- Ransom From Heaven

Prostrate yourselves at the feet of My Holy Cross and let My Precious Blood fall upon you. The drops of My Blood are a blank check in your hands; you need only to collect it. This check is valid until the end of the world. The soul that lives in God’s grace can cash it anywhere, at any time until death, even if she ignores the day. As frequently as possible, each soul must make use of this check, which is the ransom paid by My Precious Blood. (Jesus) (February 22, 1964)

Today’s Readings: The LORD shall ransom Jacob,
he shall redeem him from the hand of his conqueror.
Shouting, they shall mount the heights of Zion,
they shall come streaming to the LORD’s blessings:
The grain, the wine, and the oil,
the sheep and the oxen. (Jeremiah 31)

Prayer Meditation- Lord we read today in Jeremiah that You are the Shepherd who guards and redeems His Flock. And You ask us to journey with You every step of the way as we enter Holy Week. Because if we walk with You, we will see how every tear, every insult, every assault on Your Most Holy Person, every drop of blood You shed was for every single one of us so that so that all would be redeemed at a price we could never pay. And You just want us to worship and adore You with hearts full of thanksgiving and love because we were bought at a price (1 Corinthians 7:23), no longer slaves

(Romans 6:6) but set free by the Ransom from Heaven!
