May Our Feet Journey Together- Arranging The Events Of Our Lives

Daily Devotional Based on Spiritual Classic He And I

Fear? O course, My little girl, it counts for expiation for your host-life, for the co-redemption. I Myself was afraid in Gethsemane. And what fear! There again we are together, since I wanted to share all your sufferings. Joyously consent to share Mine. This means so much to Me. Do you see My part in your life-supreme love desiring only at-onement with you? It is for this end that I arrange the events of your life. (Jesus, July 27, 1944).

38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Matthew 26:38-40).

17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. (Romans 8:17-18).

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

O Lord we love You, we adore You and we praise You because You are a God who understands our fears. You walked the Earth and shared all of our sufferings and our fears and now You ask us to enter into Your suffering not only to heal us and redeem us but that we would be co-heirs and co-redeemers with You! (Colossians 1:24). It means so much to You when we offer our sufferings, not only out of resignation but of love! You seek union with us not only in Heaven but here on Earth and You arrange the events of our lives so that all would come together for good (Romans 8:28) for those who love You! Lord may we trust in You always with all of our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding, acknowledging You, the author of our lives!

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- WAITING FOR US — July 24, 2026

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- WAITING FOR US

Here I am. I was waiting for you. When my children receive Communion in the morning, I wait during the day for their little of thanks. Haven’t I deserved it? Just think what it means to receive Communion. How heartless not to say thank you! I gave all of Myself to My little children. Whoever wants Me may take Me. And those who receive, receive all Heaven, for Heaven is you Christ. But don’t take such an immense favor for granted. Think of each Communion as a first Communion. (Jesus to Gabrielle Bossis, July 23, 1942)

Daily Devotional Based on He and I

18 Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you;
therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. (Isaiah 30:18).

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

32 “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32).

O Lord, it is so hard to believe that You wait for us. You the God of the Universe, wait with longing for us each day. And Lord it is so few but when we come to Mass in the morning, You wait for our thanks. O Lord I must admit even as a daily Mass goer I can give into distractions and let the thorns of life (Matthew 13) choke the good soil of my soul. And yet You have given us everything and each day we can receive You- we can receive Heaven! What if today was my last Communion- how did I receive You today? With love and thanksgiving and in absolute awe for the God who stops at nothing to live in union with me, this dust who in her nothingsness has absolutely nothing to give back but thank you, thank you thank you? I love You Lord for myself and for all as if all received You with gratitude, faith, trust, and love!

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- KEEPING OUR EYES ON JESUS — July 19, 2026

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- KEEPING OUR EYES ON JESUS

A Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He and I

I take My rest in people who give themselves to Me; the more work I have to do in them, the more I rest. And while I’m working in you, if you keep your eyes on Me all day long, my work will be more fruitful.

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

O Lord, You so want us to give You everything, all that we are! We think pleasing You is all about what we do but it really is about how much of ourselves have we given to You so that You can rest in us and work in us. To trust in You with all of our hearts and not to rely on our own insight. You ask us to keep our eyes on You while You work in us. We know sometimes that work can be painful if we really let You in and let You remove what is not of You! And yet in keeping our eyes fixed on You, trusting You in all of our storms and in enduring our crosses in union with You, that there is joy ahead and life that never ends!

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- FOR LOVE — July 18, 2026

MAY OUR FEET JOURNEY TOGETHER- FOR LOVE

Daily Devotional Based On The Spiritual Classic He And I

For love I gave myself into the hands of men who did with Me as they wished. Now, I give Myself up in the Eucharist, and once again you do with Me what you wish. This is for love too. Right to the end. Right to the end of time. (Jesus, July 19, 1939).

Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.  (Philippians 2:5-9).

23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. (John 13:1).

O Lord, this reading today from He and I makes me want to cry because You have given everything in Your Passion and You continue to give us Yourself, all of Yourself, in every Catholic Mass at every moment around the world. And You did it and do it for love, for no other reason than love because You are love. And how many people really know this or think about it. Not all of the world is Christian, and not all Christians are Catholic and so many Catholic if you believe the statistics think the Eucharist is just a symbol. And yet, You are there and will be there until the end of time. You will never leave us forsake us now matter how You are received. O Lord let all of us who do believe in the fullness of Your Truth receive You with deep gratitude and love because You are the Love which never gives up on us and never let’s go loving us to the end of our lives and into Eternity.

May Our Feet Journey Together- Come To Him — July 13, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Come To Him

Daily Devotional based on The Spiritual Classic He and I

Come to Me. Show Me your poor soul. Do as the sick folk in Judea did as I passed by: talk to me, beg Me. The gospel says, “He healed them all”. Quicken your faith and confidence. (July 16, 1942)

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).

16 That evening they brought to him many who were possessed with demons; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. 17 This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.” (Matthew 8:16-17).

And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 7 (Philippians 1:6).

O Lord, why are we so afraid to approach You at times? To really show You our poor souls as they really are? As if You don’t already know all about us anyway? Why do we just prefer to white knuckle life all alone then to call out for help? Because You call us today as You did in the gospel times. And You say come to Me- come for healing, for deliverance, for true freedom! Because You bore all of our infirmities and diseases and we can trust in You always! So let us increase our faith and confidence in You- approaching You in prayer, in Your Word, and in the Sacraments including Reconciliation, if that is what is needed, where You wait for us and You will never turn us away!

May Our Feet Journey Together- Desiring Him Alone — July 12, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Desiring Him Alone

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He and I

Are you living for Me? Do you love Me enough to desire Me alone? Don’t look upon money as an end to itself but as a means of procuring My glory. Try to serve Me no matter what you are doing, just as I served you by every manner and means in My life on earth. Act with Me as if I were near your eyes, near your heart. And am I not? Then be near Me not only in My outward life, but seek Me also in My inward life turned toward My Father: in the perpetual offering of Myself for you all, in all that I did to make amends for you, in My moments of silence imbued with love, in My humble surrender as Man-God before God My Father. (July 10, 1947).

15 And he said to them, “Take heed, and beware of all covetousness; for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12:15).

23 Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.  (Colossians 3:23-24).

38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me; (John 6:38).

O Lord it is so easy to get caught up in the stress and anxiety of every day- worried about money perhaps or family problems or health and not trusting Your Providence. Because all of our circumstances are the means to procure Your Glory when united to You! You came to serve and not be served (Matthew 20:28) and You expect the same from us. To work at each task as if serving You! You ask us not only to imitate Your example but to surrender to Your Will just as You surrendered to Your Heavenly Father. You perpetually offered Yourself for all and fully united to Your Most Holy Divine Will we can do the same praying for all past, present, and future! So let us desire You alone and let You work in our working today! We love You Lord!

May Our Feet Journey Together- Unfinished Symphony Of His Passion — July 11, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Unfinished Symphony Of His Passion

Daily Devotional Based On The Spiritual Classic He And I

All this month is consecrated to My precious blood, and you think so little about it…Don’t be surprised at having to suffer for Me or at being tested and tried for My sake. These are records to be filled out for eternity. You take your place in the sacrifice for which the crown is prepared. You play your part in the unfinished symphony of My passion. Love these last sufferings. They are part of your travel wardrobe. (July 11, 1946).

You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (1 Peter 1:18-19).

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which comes upon you to prove you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice in so far as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.  (1 Peter 4:12-13).

21 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” 22 Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!” ( John 21:21-22).

O Lord, this is a tough lesson today but the truth is we are all heading for Eternity and because of Your Precious Blood we can spend that Eternity with You! We were bought with a price. All of us are being tested and tried- there is nothing strange about that though when it we are in it, we can feel all alone and that it is all only happening to us while everyone else is just out there having a great life! We may even ask You, like Peter about John when You told him what kind of death he would suffer, what about him? We can even say why me? But these sufferings are nothing compared to the glory which will be revealed. We take our place in Your Sufferings when we are resigned to Your Will like our travel wardrobe on the way to Heaven where our crown awaits! Fiat!

May Our Feet Journey Together- Simple Prayer — July 8, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Simple Prayer

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He and I

Don’t aim at saying an exact number of wordy prayers. Just love Me simply. A look of your heart. The tender smile of a friend.

“And in praying do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their many words. (Matthew 6:7).

O Lord, my heart is not lifted up,
    my eyes are not raised too high;
I do not occupy myself with things
too great and too marvelous for me.
But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
    like a child quieted at its mother’s breast;
like a child that is quieted is my soul. (Psalm 131:1-2)

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you (Matthew 6:5-6).

O Lord, we just want to check off the boxes don’t we? Rosary, check, whatever Novena we are working on, check, month of the Sacred Heart or Precious Blood so let’s do the correct litany, check. And all of this is good- hardly just wordy prayers, they are prayers of the Church. But it is so easy to get the mindset of making prayer either a list to complete or said so quickly we cannot possibly be meditating on their meaning. And the Rosary in particular is meant to be a meditative prayer. And prayed from the heart as Our Lady tells us in Medugorje. Even in these very holy things we can make prayer about us and not You! Yet, You wait for us to love You simply- to just spend time with You in our little prayer corner at home or in Adoration. To even let You speak so that we can truly listen to You! So let us yes, pray all the beautiful prayers, but also spend time with You in quiet just keeping our eyes on You Jesus, with love for the Love that longs for union with us. And whether we are saying vocal prayers, spending time in meditation, or just sitting with You in the quiet may all be with purity of intention heart to Heart!

May Our Feet Journey Together-Sacrificing A Sacrifice — June 14, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together-Sacrificing A Sacrifice

Daily Devotional from the Spiritual Classic He and I

You know sometimes I ask you to sacrifice a sacrifice (June 14, 1937).

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1).

13 Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9:13)

15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. (Hebrews 13:15).

O Lord this little message today really appeals to me. What do we hear constantly as Catholics- sacrifice, offer it up, do penance! And yes that is needed. But what is all of that really if it is not done out of love for You? If it is just something that makes us maybe feel good or dare I say it, proud. Because we can so be like the Pharisee in prayer in the Gospel who looks over at the tax collector. We can think about how glad we are that we’re not them whoever they are, and proceed to tell You how we are fasting, doing novenas, fill in the blank! I have been following the podcast from Ascension all week about the Practice of the Presence of God and Brother Lawrence which talks about just living and working in Your Presence which in itself is prayer. Because every prayer and sacrifice should really bring us to You! What if the sacrifice You are looking for is mercy and praise! To in all our ways acknowledge You (Proverbs 3:6) and let You direct our paths! In other words to live in relationship with You! To ourselves be the living sacrifice holy and acceptable to You as we offer to You all that we are, which is our nothingness, so that You can fill us with Your All! O Lord not my will but Yours be done, let it reign in me and in everyone!

May Our Feet Journey Together- Souls Are Costly — June 8, 2026

May Our Feet Journey Together- Souls Are Costly

Daily Devotional Based on the Spiritual Classic He I

As I was asking the Blessed Virgin for a conversion. “A soul is costly. It takes time, sacrifices. Suffer for it. Unite your sufferings with Mine so that they may be more pleasing to the Father.” (June 8, 1938).

When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” (John 2:3-5).

And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6:9).

24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, (Colossians 1:24).

O Lord today as in everyday most of us are pleading for conversions most likely of family members. Many of us are doing this through the Blessed Mother and with the Rosary. We can feel like we are doing this day in and day out with absolutely no fruit. We may be tempted to give up. And yet You remind us that souls are costly- that it takes times and sacrifices so let us not grow weary in doing good! There is no magic formula, just love given for the Love that gave all for everyone, including our family members. Let us offer our sufferings for them uniting them to Yours for the sake of Your Body, the Church! We can feel like we have run out of the wine of prayer- and that You are deaf to our plight! And yet we know this is not true because the Blessed Mother and You see it all and with trust in You through Her let us always do whatever You tell us for Your Glory and the good of all souls and let us never lose heart!
